I remember him studying Turkish for a month or so then travelling to Istanbul and talk to vendors there. Very impressive. The best one is when he went to Canada and met with First Nation people and spoke in Cree. Brought tears to the elders.
  • @BookNerd4Music
That is true. Xiaoma is incredibly confident and doesnt mind making mistakes or getting corrected by strangers.

tbh, i dont think you really showed them the good videos of him speaking their languages!! you coulda choosing other clips which woulda been way better or even shown other dialects of the other languages. i think he learned like 2 to 4 indian languages and learned like 3 or 4 chinese dialects, just sayin

17:50 Obviously the "American" girl hasn't spent much time in America. We ABSOLUTELY have different levels of politeness. I would NEVER speak to my Girlfriend's Father, or a Church Pastor/Priest the same way that I talk to my Best Friend.

Being an indian I don't like the way he crush the naan without even asking ,this is impolite nature ,maybe he was so frustrated that's why he did that
  • It does not make sense, to judge Xiaoman's chinese and take pieces of his clips for this where other people speak it and he mostly is listening.
  • @pippirose03
His wife also a chinese if i don't mistake that's why his mandarin better than the other languages.

the one thing that stood out to me with the street vendor in the blue sweater is he blew his nose and had a dirty handkerchief then he went inside and served food without washing his hands

I want to point out that Xiaomanyc has spoken around 50 languages so far, and he study them for lik 2 weeks max if I'm not mistaken. He once did a live interview in Norwegian in Norway, and it was actually pretty good for being just 2 weeks.

Yes, his Indonesian is not fluent, but we Indonesians appreciate everyone who learns our national language. Don't take our compliments seriously, because it might mislead you into thinking you are fluent when in reality you are not 😂 8:48 Elita, paan is what we call sirih or betel nut chewing. But of course we don’t really see it anymore in most of Indonesia, except for several places

I bet if they contacted him, they could set up some cross channel content at some point. Bet he'd love the opportunity for multilingual content.

I liked the posture of the girls they are loving caring, they are model teachers, marketers etc, each one evaluated and admired Xyaomanic a brave polyglot guy humble scholar who learns languages in 24h and in 48h, talented polyglot, I know his work the guy is talented. What I liked the girls ' comment that describes Xyaomanic well is Have Courage, be dedicated to languages, care about communicating improvise, do not worry about making mistakes, everyone makes mistakes, try to talk that with practice with natives and non-Natives you improve and master the language. And I'm glad they liked and rejoiced and admired the effort yes 🙂 about superhuman effort's Xyaomanic even with an accent estadonitano manages to be polyglot. I love the charitable, welcoming and hospitable spirit of the mocas they know what it is to be a foreigner and speak every day non-native languages different from their own. They know what reality is like the exception is the Korean girl who is affectionate welcoming hospitable and loving. The Xyaomanic videos were shown very kicked, quick of this detail I did not like it should change and be corrected, in other things the video was beautiful yes and great and educational. Congratulations to the gals and of course to the Xyaomanic colleague and friend who carries in his linguistics wisdom valuable world cultures, I loved it. Kisses on the soul of all the beautiful girls caresses and kisses continue in this spirit of acikher well and take good care of those who do not speak well and dominate Asian culture. 🌹🫂🍬🍫🌟🥂💙🧸🍺😘❣️🥰👍
  • You should try to have this panel watch videos on other polyglots/multi-lingual people like Anming ("Oriental Pearl"), Kazuma (Kazu Languages), Will John (Goluremi Languages) and Steve Kaufmann. 😊👍🏽
  • @lqdxoni1
he even speaks native american languages
  • @ryuudjinn1761
So a good question for u ladies: To understand each other better, do u think everyone should learn 1 common language or should everyone learn multiple languages? Not to forget, some of u also said that u gave up learning another language because its hard.
  • @Fercousion
For anyone curious, India have many different Indian languages, there is no language called ‘Indian’. Indians speak Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Punjabi, Sindhi and etc, there is over 20 or so last I recall. You can’t say that someone speaks Indian, because they aren’t. They are speaking in one of the many Indian languages. Chinese - he’s definitely not speaking in one of the dialects, such as Hakka or Cantonese. Korean - well, they only have one language? Just that different people speaks in different accents. Indonesia - definitely speaking in Bahasa Indonesia.
  • @SydneyHollas
Like everyone else said they didn't choose the best clips of this, especially for his Mandarin but they also did not mention how some of these videos were challenge videos. Like the Korean one, he learned Korean in 24 hours and those were clips from him learning Korean for only one day.

Annyeong, da jia hao, ladies. I've watched Xiamanyc many times to try and pick up some Mandarin but this is the first time I've seen your reaction video. I've been trying to teach myself Mandarin, off and on, for about 5 years and now I'm trying to learn Korean. Do you have any suggestions on how I can progress? Before you reply, know that I don't have anyone to practice with so I lose what i''ve learned. I'm going to follow your channel to see if I can stay motivated. Thank you, Bob from LA
