I am from the central valley and have driven through Selma. And I consider Victor a friend of mine, even though he doesn't know me.

I wish I had a prof like Hanson; I went to a a school that was very left. If Hanson is still teaching; I will send my kids to Hillsdale

Wow, wow, wow. I don’t know that I’ve ever used that word three times in a row, but I’m grateful to listen to a man who is articulate and logical. He never looked at a note yet spoke eloquently. Thank you. God bless.
  • Victor is just one brilliant person associated with this great college. I pray that it makes a huge difference in its education of others.

Victor Davis Hanson is a national treasure. A dying breed. I feel deep humility listening to him speak effectively and effortlessly on a broad range of subjects. He would give an AI a run for its money.

Hanson is one of my very favorite speakers. Even though I studied WWII (through the lens of the Atlantic conflict) for six years, I never fail to get new insights from this amazing scholar. His Trump analysis is spot-on as well - it's like there is nothing he can't deconstruct successfully!
  • wow..wow...wow..victor davis hansen is amazing..finally we have a brilliant mind and shinning soul who can talk for the everyday people who work hard and have no voice .because they work all day and have no time and too tired to learn about the government that should have been taught in school

We are so blessed to have you VDH, truly we are not worried of having someone like yourself for our politicians, but I’ll take every bit of your wisdom you have to offer anyway I can get it. We’re all better for it. God bless y’all!
  • Thank you, Professor Victor, for your great conference. Calm, clear, and informative .❤
  • Dr. Hanson is brilliant. I love listening to his logic and explanation of politicians I cannot figure out! Best story telling ever.
  • If I ever went to College I would love to have him as my History Professor. What a humble great person. 🇺🇸

Hard to watch now almost five years later, knowing all that was ahead. Mr. Hanson still has a handle on our present and possible future. Always worth listening to anything he has to say.

I like Hanson because he doesn't  shove an agenda down your throat. He simply presents his arguments and lets you decide what to take away from it. A staunch liberal may very well reject most of what he says, but if you're willing to listen with an open mind you can learn something worthwhile. Refreshing to say the least.
  • This fellow does not get emotional, he just explains it like things are. He reminds me of Fred Thompson, who we lost too soon. I'm now retired, but I've visited Hilsdale College in person. It's a campus you must see. I did not meet Larry, but I did meet the Student Union director. It's an amazing campus.

VDH is one of our generation's (over 60) intelligent minds. Love to hear him speak and unlike many of today's speakers I actually learn from him.

Victor David Hanson is one of the greatest thinkers in the USA.

In retrospect, his speech was so spot on in so many ways. All his insight and opinion was based on history and reflection. As I am watching this in June of 2022 his words are almost prophetic…the most interesting is that he did not necessarily foretell our current state, but rather told his listeners of past events and the effects of good vs failed policy and foreign and domestic leadership which in turn we currently see the exact same failures playing out.

VDH is a gift to us all and proof of what's possible in a human being. A real national treasure. Thank you sir.
