Just watching or playing it, it just makes you wonder how anyone got off the beach at all. It’s daunting enough doing it on a game where when you get shot in certain places it doesn’t instantly kill you and you know you can go again even if you die. I wonder how many of us would play the game if the damage sustained to your character on the game happened to you in real life. Never fails to amaze me how anyone got through it.

It wasn’t that easy to get on the Higgins’s Boat. It wasn’t that calm. If you didn’t time it right, you either had a 2 foot jump soft landing or a 30 foot hard drop.
