The North Island (also known as Te Ika-a-Māui) was phenomenal, with breathtaking sights from Auckland, to Waitomo Caves, Hobbiton, National Park and Wellington. We could've easily spent more days especially with the hikes around Whakapapa, but South Island awaits us :)
