Here is a look at the process of making Narissa, Guardian of the Kelp Forest. Every year I look forward to Mermay and the wonderful sirens that make it magical. This is my submission, I hope you like her. I show repainting her face, creating her tail and accessories, and styling her hair.

She is absolutely gorgeous. I love how her tail came out and the idea for petals as scales was amazing. Her hair looks so pretty. I love expression. Sheβs so beautiful

i love mermaid-themed dolls so much, but this one is just.... WOW. THE TAIL. THE HAIRSTYLE. THE EARRINGS. so unique yet mind-blowing. you are so talented
-
She turned out so gorgeous, and I'm always in AWE of your skills and creativity!!! π

Fun little hack with the little rubber bands: get you some lemon essential oil on a qtip and the band should break and not damage the hair!
-
Thinking about it, if the limbs stock box you have ever seems to be getting too full for comfort, you could use them to create a spider themed doll with a full eight limbs, or even something like the grafted scions from elden ring. Could easily get big and unwieldy thought, so if it's not on the table, that's understandable

Love her hairstyle, beautiful!!π
-
That hair style is amazing! The amount of time, care and thought you put into it is amazing! What a wonderful way to begin mermay ππ
-
Beautiful, love her hair.

Love all of the details you put into her and the creative elements you added! I also love that the dark green hair is called Pluto. Definitely must have some Sailor Moon fans at the Doll Planet. π
-
She's amazing! I love that you did a stuffed fabric tail that can still be posed, and the leafs make perfect scales πΏ Doll company's should take note β₯

What a lovely colorsheme! I also appreciate that this doll has no sewing required. (As I wanna get into dollmaking but the sewing prospect intimidates me)

I have a Vandala that Iβm planning to make a Victorian pirate lady since the leg has a super detailed sculpt and looks really neat painted out. I also love her transparent skin tone and I think with a little bit of blushing and skin toned pastels it will look like the almost transparent skin that was considered beautiful at the time

She's incredible!

I love her expression!
