  • The fact that made Cody Rhodes story more memorable. It is the fact he went against the biggest villain in WWE.
  • @King420.
Watching Cody Rhodes honor his father's legacy and carve out his own path to greatness in WWE is truly inspiring. Dusty Rhodes would be beaming with pride seeing his son's achievements. The Rhodes legacy lives on!

From Biggest Rival to Being his Shield 🛡️ Respect for Seth Rollins 🙌📈
  • @DarthSidian
Undertaker stepping in out of nowhere and then vanishing was insane. Also, Dusty would be proud.
  • Seeing Cody and Seth go from opponents, to rivals, to enemies, to partners, to friends, and to brothers is just awesome.

I cried when Cody won. People don't get how emotional this sport can be! Cody 100% deserves this, and I am baffled that his father never received that well-deserved opportunity.

SETH ROLLINS - THE KEY TO CODY RHODES' VICTORY Back in February, Seth Rollins promised to be Cody's Shield, and Seth completely kept his promise at WrestleMania 40. But what Seth did had an even bigger impact than that. Seth Rollins' betrayal of The Shield in 2014 caused a huge crack inside Roman Reigns. That betrayal is a recurring nightmare for Roman, one from which he can never find a way out. That's also why Roman hated Sami Zayn so much when Sami did the same thing, hitting Roman with a chair, making him remember that nightmare. "I know you because I AM YOU" - Only Seth, who has been on the same front line many times, can understand Roman the most. Seth has grasped Roman's weakness. At Royal Rumble 2022, Seth went straight to Roman's psychology when he wore The Shield outfit again and reused the group's theme music. It didn't stop there, even though he was hit with a spear, Seth still stuck out his fist like The Shield often did and said "I always love u, brother" enough to make Roman angry and punish Seth appropriately despite lost by DQ. The referee tried to stop Roman but he continued and told him that he could not forgive what Seth had done to him. When talking to Cody, Seth admitted that he was part of the cause of the The Tribal chief''s paranoia and tight control. At WrestleMania, when he appeared in The Shield theme song wearing the Shield suit and chair, Roman immediately stopped it from happening again. BUT that was Seth's goal: To get Roman's attention. If you noticed at that time The Rock looked towards the stand to find Seth, only Roman could know the location of Seth's sneak appearance. That's because most of the times The Shield surrounds the opponent, Seth is always the one behind the scenes to sneak attack from the main angle of the camera. And as soon as Roman picked up the chair, Seth knew Roman wouldn't be able to resist revenge. Sure enough, instead of hitting Cody, Roman targeted Seth. Seth's role as a shield worked. Seth Rollins is literally an Architect who finds a flaw within Bloodline and does what is necessary to take down the monster he helped create so long ago.
  • Damn, this run after Coming back to WWE is so special and memorable already.

Cody absolutely deserves this moment. He's the right guy to carry the company forward and usher the new era. But let's not forget how instrumental Roman been for the last 4 years since he turned heel. He became an amazing on-screen persona, Pual Heyman joined as his advisor, the Bloodline faction formed under him, the top 2 titles were merged and he became a god tier level superstar. Hate him or love him we loved to discuss about him. It's not quantity of matches he had, it's quality of matches he delivered. And delivered every single time with storylines, reactions and finishes from Sammy, to Jey and finally Cody. He deserves his praise. And now eyes are on Cody to shine and he will rise up to the occasion.

Wrestlemania 38 where it all started. Cody's return and Roman becoming Undisputed champion
  • @jamescooper3324
“Crowd is here, about to blow.” As the crowd erupts is just the best touch on his return
  • @jjcastilllo
The journey of Cody wasn’t easy. He had to battle every obstacle that came in his way. He fought hard and determined himself to finish his story. I can’t wait to see how his title reign will go now he’s the new face of the company.
