Recovering from minor surgical procedure, feeling really blue.

One of the hardest things in life is being alone when you're not feeling well, but we get through somehow. Unfortunately, I'm one of those people that are extremely sensitive to drugs and chemicals, so things hit me harder. Life goes on!

I'm so sorry you feel unwell. As we get older it takes longer to bounce back. It's so hard to be unwell on your own. So sorry, you must feel bloody awful. Thinking of you, keep plodding on, sending love. Look after yourself, try not to worry. Much love, Xxxxx
  • So sorry you are feeling lousy :( it’s perfectly understandable how one can feel more isolated than ever when you are ill. It can be scary even. I hope you are feeling a little better today.
  • I felt the same way, and alone after heart catherization. It took me 10 days to start feeling better. I get up forb15 min.and had to sit down. Don't worry you will recover. Relax and just accept the temporary upset. Cry all you want, let it out! Better days ahead kiddo!!!😊😊

Aw Lori 😢 when you cry you make me want to cry. Just know this is mostly because of your procedure. I hope you feel better soon from one lonely person to another.

So sorry to hear that you are not feeling well. That anesthesia is a butt kicker for us seniors. It will take time to get all that out of your system. I really feel sad for you 😢 Don’t worry about filming videos. We will be here whenever you feel better. Drink plenty of liquids to flush that crap out of your systems. Many many virtual hugs ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

STOP!!! AND COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS. Those of us that are alone go through this it's scary but you'll make it through this. After all you're a survivor like us all on this platform. Chin up and look forward to tomorrow. I promise you it will get better. 💐

Lori, I am so sorry to hear that you’ve been down and not feeling good. I am sending you well wishes and hugs. I have been having some problems with my lungs and the doctor is going to run some tests, so there are some days I have cried also. I really wish some of my YouTube friends like up yourself lived close by. Sometimes just talking to people here helps . I love seeing your little babies in the videos. Dogs really are the best companions. Lori, I hope by the weekend you are feeling better, I am sure you will be soon. Snuggle with your babies tonight 🤗😘💞

I hear you. I'm in my 60's and recovering from COVID. I've been alone for 2 weeks. I was feeling horribly down a few days ago and did a little research and found out that COVID depression is real. Several physical processes, but basically due to brain inflammation. I know having someone around is so helpful. I have a good friend who is about my age and single and if we feel awful we sometimes call each other. Sometimes you just need someone to "whine" to, ya know? I found some comfort in knowing that depression was a normal reaction to the COVID virus and did self care things. I watch funny clips here on YT. Stephen Colbert makes me laugh...Jim Gaffigan too. But, I also know that after I spent Christmas with my son and his fiancee I was SO depressed when I got home. It helps me a lot to have people around and he's so sweet to me....never left for work or went to bed without giving me a hug and kiss and telling me he loved me. Hang in there sweetie...you'll be feeling better soon.
