Kotake and Koume, the surrogate mother of Ganondorf, are indeed the true followers of Ganondorf. Bringing back Twinrova to the Age of Calamity sequel would not only enlightens me since we we have not seen her in 20 years. But also, it would give us more clues on how did Ganondorf is able to mastered the Gloom.

I unfortunally think that Aonuma is done with the wild era, he doesnt want a Sequel to a Sequel

For the third game, I would like to see Link, Zelda and the Sages travel to foreign lands outside of Hyrule (since Sdon's wife Yona is from a different Zora's domain). Thus, give this trilogy a proper conclusion and Zelda gains the monarch entitlement with Link as her consort as the pair started a family together with the Kingdom of Hyrule has been restored.

Since Ganondorf existed in the alternate timeline, Nintendo needs to make a sequel to Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.

I found some new info about Ganondorf’s background in the original Japanese. Basically he has a dissatisfaction to the rulers of Hyrule that lived in a peace and tranquility where as he remained attached to the brutal past were those with a sense of fighting spirit are the supreme. He aims for controlling all creation instead of world domination(unlike his previous incarnations) in order bring the world back where it was rightfully roamed by demons before the Zonai came down from heaven and purified it with Shrines of Light. Ganondorf is willing to go extreme lengths to fulfill his desire. Even if he has to transformed himself into the Demon King. In short, he is a Gerudo Warrior who likes darkness and demons, whom he enjoys the thrill of battle, and he disdains for the weak and cowardly relying on the protection of others (much similar to Demise of Skyward Sword). No wonder why he has grudge against King Rauru and his Kingdom. To Ganondorf’s philosophy, he viewed the land of Hyrule should be ruled by sheer power and a fighting spirit. Having an eternal peace is nothing more than a delusion. But never the less, his obsession for a green land would bring his people out of the death and misery of the Gerudo Desert.

There has been rambling of a new Hyrule Warriors: The Imprisoning War.
  • What if we did get a 3rd game where Koume & Kotake attempt to revive Ganondorf (with his secret stone) and were successful? Maybe they fled to another land outside of the Hyrule we know? Perhaps they're in search of the Triforce, find it, and use it to revive the Demon King with more power than ever before? Thus giving him his Triforce of Power while being amplified by his Secret Stone. Man, that fight would be so epic. Semi-final boss being Twinrova and then the newly empowered Ganondorf as the final boss. Link could maybe get a secret stone to amplify the Master Sword to challenge Ganondorf.

Astor and his group can’t be the descendants of Ganondorf’s followers because any descendant of them would be Gerudo and a woman

Personally I don't think there will be a trilogy, some things are best left unanswered instead of satisfying people by tying up loose ends. They want people to theorize and piece things together. Though I would love to see another LoZ open world game that isn't based in BoTW era.
  • Absolutely brilliant video! Really got those Zelda Theory juices flowing.. It can't hurt to get excited and speculate even over something super unlikely to ever happen, so why not. I can fully get on board with your soft prediction for a new adventure beyond the Wild-Tears Hyrule with the mysterious other Zora domain, descendants of the evil Gerudo who fled there, whatever native races may have inhabited those lands and more besides (Lurelin's ancestors?). I like the idea that Kohga and the Yiga are still kicking about (I wouldn't bet on Sooga not being written off as an AoC timeline character only), and that Astor's tribe from AoC could be lurking in the post-Tears world somewhere. Just your concept of the Ganondorf-aligned Gerudo from Tears becoming Astor's tribe (by some interbreeding? With whom?) opens up lots of interesting questions I'd never considered before. What do you think of the possibility that this evil Gerudo/Astor's tribe having some connection to the warlike dragon-worshipping tribe of ancient Faron? The idea of revisiting the land after Ganondorf's defeat is also interesting, if not from the perspective of a follow-up game (I agree that a Termina type New-Land type idea would be best) but from a narrative perspective. I'd be particularly interested with relations between the Gerudo tribe and the Hylians and others post-Tears... Would everyone be suspicious of the Gerudo and waiting for the next baby boy to be born? Would they even know about Demise's curse cycle or Ganon's own? They all know the last Gerudo male was Ganondorf, but he was born a gazillion years ago when at least some of the Gerudo were somewhat evil.. Could the evil Gerudo-cum-Astor's tribe be where the next incarnation comes from? Fascinating stuff. Thanks for the video. Subscribed.
  • I Hopefully They Announced The Third Game of Era of the Wild of Legend of Zelda, once The New game console of Nintendo is Released maybe after 6 years will released the Third Game. Maybe Link and Zelda They adventured to the Another World like Lorule The Counterpart of Hyrule If The Portal to the Parallel World will opened and The Shrines are Glowing Red Technological by Loruleans and About Lore of Ganondorf his Evil Legacies will Continued like his servants will Help to Resurrected him again maybe Princess Zelda's Blood Required to revive him If their servants will Kidnap him
  • @sespe13_
This is a really cool theory! (It also gives more reason to one im making)
  • If you noticed sidon's wife shes from a different Zora's domain i think it was already confirmed that there will be a part 3 well for what i know of course even tho the creator said the story is over but i think we will see sidon's wife home and new land we shall see what happens in the game of the year we shall see what happens
  • @FieryRed_BE
i think astor is only conidered a fortune teller because of the corrupted terako
  • @agustinbmed
Well whether it is or isn’t we’ll never know, they’re not making a third installment of this era
  • Next Zelda will be another open world (open puzzles) but more cortoonish. A bigger map (not Hyrule) than the Wilds era, but more packed with sidequests and secrets.
