The opening action sequence of "No Time To Die" finds James Bond racing through the streets of Matera, Italy. Special effects supervisor Chris Corbould, who has worked on 007 classics like "GoldenEye" and "Skyfall," explains how the crew loaded the Aston Martin DB5 with gadgets, made a pristine vehicle look damaged, and how pouring soda helped cars and motorcycles speed through ancient cobblestone streets.

  • “We all have our secrets, we just didn’t get to yours yet.” Has to be one of my favorite Bond lines ever
  • The way Bond sits inside his car while it gets blasted with bullets is testatment to his belief on Q and the integrity of his gadgets.
  • The car chase scene was so intense. Especially if you watch it in the theatres
  • @errhka
That motorcycle jump was rad in IMAX. Loved the film and congrats to the cast and crew for making such a great end to the Craig era
  • The fact that they didn’t take the easy way out with simple CGI and small-scale stunts make this movie (and other Bond movies) stand apart
  • OK, can these guys get an Oscar nod for Visual Effects, please? This mini-doc more than proved why they should.

Its to the point where I see stuff like the motorcycle jump and I just assume a lot of it is CGI. Kudos for pulling it off but I feel bad that I don't always know when its a real stunt.
  • This is INCREDIBLE! And we just write off a movie just like that, not even giving a second to think about what goes on behind all the shine. Kudos to the team.
  • Awesome how they managed to shoot this on the ancient streets without damaging.
  • This 10 min bond car chase was better than 10 of those fast and SERIOUSLY RIDICULOUS furious movies. Yeah. I said it.😎
  • Kudos to the team for protecting the old buildings and keeping everyone safe even with all of the dangerous stunts.
  • Love the cinematic creativity and ingenuity. The crew and actors deserve every penny of their box office success
  • I’m sure the roads were mobbed by ants after filming.
  • One of the most intense car scenes I’ve ever seen.
  • When they say "more than meets the eye", this is what they meant. A lot goes into Bond's stunts for a few minutes on screen.
