I agree. Mike Johnson is not helping the country. I will be very upset if Dems. Back Johnson. Hakeem Jeffries should be the leader. We don't need someone who helped orchestrate and lead an insurrection!

I am old like most elders and we have Never seen anything like this. What boggles my imagination is how stupid does he think the public are and how much power does he think he will have from a prison cell and is ability to even have a phone call. People can see through his hype.

public office is a sacred public trust, to be administered conscientiously for the benefit of the whole people, to the best of the representative's ability, and not for the financial advantage for personal, selfish gain and aggrandizement.

I'm all for Pat Ryan. Flip the coin. Put Hakeem Jefferies in the speaker ship. Get the Republicans to vote for him so you can actually get some work done and you will get a majority of Republicans actually wanting to do that.
