  • People see how good he is, but the possibility of him being better than their goats scares the hell out of them. That's why they don't give him credit...
  • @muvzyhoops
i can see him being a pro overwatch player named "donatello" LMFAO
  • I live in Dallas and have seen him play in person over 50 times. The thing about Luka is his game is replicatable and sustainable over an entire 82 game season and playoffs because he’s precisely not athletic enough to abuse his body. The fact he isn’t athletic as other guys actually is an advantage for him because his game has to be slower and more precise. The other thing about him is his consistency. Even his bad games are good games in one way or another and that’s what really differentiates him above everybody else.

Luka isnt unathletic. He is very athletic! He just does not jump out of the building, but he is extremely shifty and can physically dominate every player fast enough to stay with him with superior strengh. There is more to athleticism then being ripped like Giannis!

He's been playing professional ball since he was 8, so he's had a competitive headstart in literally every margin possible. From playoff pressure to physical toughness, it's like having the mind of veteran Lebron in a 25 year old body.

Luka's not even fat, ive never understood why people say that

Luka is super athletic. People just don't know what that means

And hes doing it on a bum knee and I don't say this as an excuse or to hype him up by pretending like he'd average way more or anything, he'd definitely be better but not by much, but what it DOES mean however is that his game is very adaptable, father time wont impact him anywhere near as much as it does most other players, his skill set doesn't require what youth gives you.
  • Honestly, I'm so angry Luka is so disrespected and so discredited by stupid media that create stupid narratives. The there are stupid people, who dknt know nothing about basketball and think like it's a 1v1 sport. Luka Doncic is a phenom and basketball genius. He's a generational talent that rivals only the very best guys that ever played. Greay video, thank you!

Those who watch him play already knew he was unique. The proof of concept is him reaching the finals this year, but the writing was on the walls the entire time. That rookie season was only compared with those of greats. Next year he averaged Westbrook type numbers, and already had great moments as a playoff performer. Year after year he became better and better, and what some of us saw in the future was manifesting in the present: the clinching of the series vs Phoenix, the 60-21-10 game vs New York, Christmas game vs Phoenix, the 73 points against Atlanta. Now the playoffs series on bum legs and back, game winners and daggers, the defensive plays. It can be this year, or maybe it won't. But you can see it. Now and everytime you watch him play. A big solar flare in a galaxy of greats.
  • It's crazy he doesn't get more recognition from the media and some players that left the league. He is so much fun to watch! Next series is going to be fantastic!

This luka is unathletic take is flat out wrong. He actually accelerates and jumps quite well given how big and heavy he is. His coordination, breakes, strength and agility are absolute elite.

8:32 Luka has 9 years of professional basketball under his belt since he was 16 in Real Madrid, 14 when he started playing in the B team, with 18 he became the Euroleage MVP
