Fun fact: miles is animated at a lower framerate when hes learning to become spider-man, at the end hes animated at a higher framerate meaning hes mastered the flow of being Spider man

"I never cry." Looks like he's on the verge of tears every second of the video.

The last quote from Miles was from Stan Lee, anyone can wear the mask, YOU can wear the mask.
  • Also a fun fact, Miles broke the glass in his leap of faith scene because he was still scared. He was forcing himself to do it. Powerful stuff

It took me WAY too long to realize how Miles lost his Uncle Aaron like Peter lost his Uncle Ben.

Knew something was up when I saw Kingpin in a black suit. The villain's typically seen in an all-white suit, it's practically his trademark. Having him in black here is an early clue that he's grieving.

Man, I was exactly like you at the end. I was literally in tears just because it was so unbelievably good. From the writing to animation to music... Like, I was so happy that this movie exists I just couldn't help being overwhelmed by it.

Fun fact (that is apparently wrong, and now I’m sad and mad): Jameson in the post credits is voiced by Stan Lee. He always wanted to play the character at least once, and he managed to do it before he died. RIP Stan Lee. Edit: It wasn’t him. It was an associate editor called. Adam Brown.

Trivia: Miles' dad was a SHIELD agent who became a cop when he became a family man because it was a safer line of work, so he's actually more of a badass than he lets on. Also, his peculiar kind of dorkiness fits in with SHIELD agents.

"Our first time watching it" Aunt Mae: "Took you long enough..."

This movie earned its Oscar so hard. It's the best Spider-Man movie ever made, and one of the best animated movies ever

Fun fact (Because all the top comments are them): When Miles is jumping off the building, finally having become spider-man, while he's falling, he's shot upside down because in reality he's rising.
  • Never have I seen a Movie Animation Studio go from 0/10 to 10/10 in literally 1 year. Emoji Movie to this. Wow, just wow...
  • Spiderman death was rlly heartbreaking PS: the movie made me cry a lot too
  • @MateoMatzilla
Spider-verse is Easily my favorite Spider-man movie, and maybe the best western animated film I've seen. Definitely up there with some of the best anime films

I clicked on this so fast. I absolutely ADORE this movie so much. I went in with low expectations when I went to watch this and was blown away. It’s the reason why I love the song Sunflower. Soundtrack, animation, humor...11/10. Hubby and I immediately bought it on blu-ray when it was released. By far my favorite Spider-Man!

The Green Goblin in this movie is based on the Ultimate Universe’s interpretation, where he was a human that could turn into a monster. It’s also the same comics Miles debuted in.
