I love this scene, I grew up with a narcissistic mother who was very unwell and abusive. The phrase “he won’t grow to full power” hit my heart like lightning. It summed up so much of what I was trying to learn as a young person in a matter of seconds. Love this movie 🩷

Soy de Perú. Salí hace poco menos de cuatro meses de una relación con una chica demasiado tóxica que me manipulaba, me maltrataba y me hizo sentir miserable muchas veces en sus arranques de "inseguridad" donde vivo echaba la culpa de todo lo malo que le ocurría y de cosas que yo jamás hice. Rompí con ella por el daño que no solo me hacía al estar con ella seis meses, sino a las personas que amo como mi familia y amistades. Me dejó secuelas fuertes hasta que me dí cuenta que el problema jamás fuí yo y que pasé por una relación dañina. Entiendo a Renfield y esta película me encantó por su mensaje y proceso de sanación. Me encanta esta película.
