  • Hello this is Josh (first dev, Anxious Noob) - huge thank you to this show, the investment and exposure! Was an amazing experience! The other devs were all such great guys with awesome games too! Edit: Just to add something I missed out in the pitch, Bean Beasts will be a full game, no DLC, Pay to Win, In-App Purchases!

Rogue Blight dev here! Thank you guys for all the support. I'm speechless. It was incredible to see Asmon play my game!
  • @loya-online
Loya dev here! Thank you so much everyone for voting for the game! Really enjoyed being on the show!
  • @spindabear
Giving out the money at the end of the show was a great change.

This show is genius. This what the industry needs right now. no agenda, no BS, just pure gaming.
  • This is actually a good idea. AAA publishers greenlit Skull & Bones and Suicide Squad, so yea they obviously don't know wtf they are doing.
  • @ikedogman1
The I Am Hacker thing is genius. And they nailed it having the educational angle. I think that has absurd potential.
  • @Beedulgi99
This... is such a brilliant IDEA!!! LET'S GO INDIE DEVS!!! WE'RE ROOTING FOR YA!!
  • @Silvergum
I love Asmon's presenter mode he is quite good at it, very positive and respectful 👍
  • @Marcus-ss4gn
This should happen more. Gaming industry is a huge multibillion industry, much bigger than the stuff those "sharks" are investing in. Why there is no shark tank for gaming industry?
  • @coldfries8976
Josh is amazing. 300 Wishlist with your first game as a solo dev whilst learning development is insane.
  • @ProblmSolvd
The art on Bean Beasts is FANTASTIC, it really reminds me of Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, which was one of my favourite games during my childhood.
  • The phrase you were looking for when talking about a solo-developer versus a AAA game was “Too many cooks spoil the broth”

Just wanted to say congratulations on getting something like this up and going - I've seen a lot of similar productions and it can be a real pain. I know moonmoon does a gamejam once or twice a year and it sounds like even though he has good help, it's a pain to gather everybody's "not ready for production" game and get it into a runnable state for the streamer without compromising themselves (think accidental IP-leaks, stuff like getting people onto multiplayer games, some intentional malware from a programmer, etc). This format worked well because it gave people a chance to sort of "Prep thier presentation" in thier own environments, prerecord stuff if needed, and explain things on thier terms. Congratulations on getting this going!

A lot of people don't understand how much actual work making a game is. It's wild how the first dude this this on his own. I prefer massive open world single player games with a story but enjoy watching this. It's really cool you are putting a spotlight on people the industry needs to pay attention to.
  • @drtyslzy
we need Thor on here as a judge
  • @adestimare5985
They REALLY need someone like Kelly from the first episode. There should be at least one person who knows more about the actual development process. That was easily the most interesting part in Episode 1, she was asking actual hard questions about the financial and organizational side, which was really lacking here
