NEVER CHANGE THE BACKGROUND MUSIC. It gives a sense of dark hope and profundity to existence.

Inquisitor: Let's use this anceint machine powered by psychic souls. What's the worst that could happen.

    Chaos: DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!

Historiator: Thus, a huge section of the galactic east and fleets of souls were gone straight to literally space hell.
  • Angron shrugs off a lance strike while yeeting himself through the void of space.

That's so ridiculously fantastic... and it's just a passing remark in this epic record.

Now this is how you kick off the day at work on a Friday

“Sir, we have a post battle report from Fleet Quartius. It says: the fleet is destroyed. The planet is dead. The sector is f*cked. We’re all f*cked.”

Guilliman: Yep there’s some more of that sweet victory right there.

Congratulations on 100K my good man, your ceaseless work in making 40k lore accessible and so damnably interesting deserves 100,000 more .
I, for one, intend to still be here to see it 🤝 🇮🇪
  • I've always enjoyed your use of language, but the opening of this record was something sublime. Thank you for all of your labours, Oculus. Ave Imperator!
  • I don't know about ya'll but I'm really looking forward to seeing The Lion vs Angron. I just wanna see a scenario where we get Dark Angels vs World Eaters vs Orks in all out 4th war for Armageddon
  • Angron is one of the most tragic Primarch's. He had so much promise and potential yet his life on Nuceria and treatment by The Emperor threw all that away and ultimately led down the path that led him to Khorne. It does beg the question; Was Angron always doomed to fall to Khorne? Or would things have turned out differently if The Emperor had treated him differently?
  • Kharn is the 8th Captain to finally convince Angron to accept the World Eaters Legion after 7 previous Captains died.

8 is the Sacred Number of Khorne.

The moral of the story is that the suffering and sacrifice of the "few" (psychers fed to the machine) never justifies the benefits for the many; that the ends do not justify all the means, and that evil deeds only lead to awful results. Thank you Oculus.
  • The Eldar attacked Angron because they saw a vision of him being Khorne's champion and attempted to stop it.

Sadly, they have a tendency to commit Self-Fulfilled Prophecy.
  • A true renaissance of Oculus goodness! Four videos in a month! Emperor be praised!
  • Ironic and tragic, isn't it? A man who craved freedom so desperately, yet every attempt to grasp it found himself trading one master to another. And, most tragically, even if he were to shake off those yokes, he would still not be free.

For in refusing to let go of his spite and hate, Angron is a slave to his own broken mind.

Oculus Imperia is responsible for 99% of the usages of the word "redolent" that I've encountered in my lifetime 😄
  • Thanks again for your work on this. It was well worth the wait for part 2. As always Ave Imperator, Gloria in Excelsis Terra, Greetings from Kilkenny, R.O.I 🇮🇪
  • OMG! Finally! I have been waiting for this since the first one. Every day I'd check if you had done the next part. The best thing is knowing that there are still 3 more episodes to come.

Ghazghkull Thraka to Angron: "No, ya zoggin' git! Crash ya ships at shallow angles so all ya boyz don't die before dey even get ta fight! This is why ya got stomped at Armageddon while I turned Armageddon into an eternal Waaagh!"
  • @alexanderfielding
