"I Understand You" is dedicated to my love, my Drawing Hearts sweetheart. It's about not fitting in, feeling misunderstood, being neurodivergent in a world of neurotypical people, but being assured you're loved and heard and understood. It was a hazy idea, one from a title in a notespad, but I really do love it.
