Hi Robbie, thanks for the trip to the dollar store, haven’t shopped since they closed my favorite 99Only.🥲 It’s still triple digit heat here (Tucson, AZ zone 9a) and I spend hours keeping my plants and chickens and Zebra finch comfortable and healthy. The melons are growing like crazy. I have new tomatoes sprouted and ready to go out. Loved your garden tour yesterday, wish I had some ginger root growing. Our Dollar Trees aren't as nice as yours, Robbie, but I've definitely learned what to look for. We don't drink milk, so I couldn't plant lettuce in milk cartons, but I bought the smaller size of those popcorn buckets for some lettuce.

Dollar Tree discontinued those larger wire trash 🗑️ baskets. They now have a smaller one. I used the large ones to cover my plants (mostly brassicas), the way Robbie taught us.
