MandRproductions review of the 2005 LEGO Star Wars 10143 UCS Death Star 2! This was the biggest LEGO set (by piece count) when released and it's still massive by todays standards! Clocking in with 3449 pieces this took me about 10 HOURS to build! Perhaps the biggest disappointment with the first dozen or so LEGO Star Wars UCS sets was the lack of Minifigures and this set unfortunately has none. However once you see this thing, that'll be the last thing you'll be thinking about! It's amazing in every way and the ultimate LEGO Star Wars Death Star for collectors.

  • Hopefully one day LEGO remakes this in its display form! Until then, this is the one & only. It’s incredible.

I like how he says spoiler warning for a movie that’s almost 37 years old.
  • @livmorgansimp
It's a 2 in 1 the built version and then when you unbox it the blown up version
  • @Jeffees
This is literally a lego globe
  • @bigmanwill6740
The dislikes must be from the people’s who’s planets were destroyed by it
  • This is such a cool set hope they remake one like this And not the play version
  • @chrislmaoo
In my 21 years of life I have never seen one of these next to a person, it is a lot bigger than I thought it would be

I just googled how the Death Star 2 looks in the film and all the unfinished parts are 100% accurate
  • @tylerdrawsfake
If Lego does decide to remake this set, it would be interesting if they designed it so you could rebuild it into a complete Death star. So add some paneling up the side to finish it off. It would significantly increase the peice count, but would be a welcomed feature

We need a new UCS Death Star that doesn't look like a doll house already...

If they decide to remake it one day it NEEDS to have mini figures, and personally I think they should be set exclusive, special edition minifigures.
  • @jacob222
You should do a comparison of all three death stars
  • @RememberPluto
imperial USC sets in a nut shell. Basic 3D geometric shapes. I say this as a proud owner of the UCS Scary Triangle.

My parents would never spend more than $100 on a lego, I just had a collection of small lego sets instead
  • That fan is a god for sending this to you for free. What an awesome person.
