This modpack completely changes Minecraft

Not even 30 seconds in and Kevin has already pissed off a bunch of bees and stole from a village. Never change Kevin! Edit: he has now burned down the village

Kevin should definitely make this a series I don’t know why, but playing Minecraft with mods like these feel nostalgic in a way

"you just got to admire your work, you know, in a thick irish accent sometimes" as a markedly non-irish person who has watched kevin and other irish content creators regularly for years, I do find myself frequently either aloud or in my head thinking "ah sure jaysus that's a grand job" whenever I finish something well

The inside of Kevin's home is genuinely one of the nicest builds I've seen from him!!

I love how Kevin gave the chicken something to climb on, that's actually something you're supposed to do in a chicken pen so they have some mental stimulation. My parents did it with mini fake tree for them to climb, and they use it to stand menacingly over the others 😂

I actually really like the interior layout of your house. The way it opens up and splits off into different levels looks really nice.

Some tips Kevin: 1. Machines store their energy (in the sense that it doesn’t go to waste like furnaces) so you can use it whenever you want. 2. Most modpacks have a function which allows you to see where hostile mobs can spawn by pressing F7. A yellow cross means they can only spawn there during nighttime and a red cross means they can spawn there at both day and night. 3. Automating machinery is so satisfying, and you should try to get a mechanical storage of some sort (look up ME System for references) 4. You should see if your modpack has OreExcavator (alternatively VeinMiner). It allows you to mine entire chunks of same-type blocks while you hold down a certain key, all at the cost of some extra hunger depending on how many blocks it excavates.

As a minecraft plugin developer and player of 10ish years, some of this is so painful to watch. Never change Kevin, never change.

Real quick, can we appreciate how the audio changes whenever Kevin is in like a cave?

For future reference, you can lure bees by holding a flower in your main hand, much like the way you lured that chicken with seeds. They are also bred with flowers, so if you need more bees, just find 2 and a bunch of flowers. Also, the hives (both natural and crafted) can only hold 3 bees, and to safely harvest honey and honeycomb, you will need a campfire beneath the hive, and THEN you can use a bottle or shears on it without triggering the bees.

Hey Kevin, FTB also has a modpack called "FTB Academy" which is made for modpack beginners and includes a questbook that leads you through some of the most popular modpacks out there. I am sure lots of us would enjoy watching you play through this!

I really hope you enjoy this pack enough to do a series, would love to see it! Edit: also if you press "A" while hovering over an item, you can save the item onto the left and if you left or right click on it you can look at how to make it or what it makes respectively. REALLY helpful for large modpacks with the JEI mod

Lol, I never get tired of Kevin's minecraft videos. Kevin is the reason I picked up the game myself. Even my children couldn't accomplish that.

I think Kevin is the only person I can stand watch do something wrong. Because he can't know any better until he actually tries

Something I've never even realized is that when he's not yelling, Kevin's voice is actually really soothing and smooth.
