  • "Bye Bye There" is such a perfect finale to the game. Traveling back through the entire tower to gather everyone up and leave; it could have easily been a credits roll, but they chose to make it one last challenge, a mad dash to where it all began.
  • @ros9764
1:11 this is why i watch videos like this because otherwise i would not have known the name of the instruments and would have kept calling this "game and watch noises"
  • @PoyoDesuka
'The Crumbling Tower of Pizza' and its song 'Bye Bye There!' Really are a perfect way to end the game. Like a celebration of the game itself.
  • Fun Fact: The reason "Bye Bye There!" sounds like "It's Pizza Time!" is because the level it plays in (The Crumbling Tower Of Pizza, which is the final level of the game) is one big escape sequence through the hub worlds of the game, right after the final boss. So "Bye Bye There!" is basically meant to be a more triumphant rendition (and a reprise) of "It's Pizza Time!" which is why it uses the leitmotif.

I love that in Deep Dish 9, if you're playing at a good speed, you'll reach the first rocket right at the moment the hook kicks in. It's just so perfect.
  • I gotta say out of all of these "Profesion in Music Reacts to __ Soundtrack" yours are consistently my favorite. I love how obvious it is your having fun while listening to the tracks, your insight and analysis of the tracks is ALWAYS on point and interesting, AND the violin jam section afterwards never fails to go hard.
  • "Bye Bye, There!" is definitely the perfect way to cap off such a wonderful descent into madness: it's a victory lap. Gone is the anxiety of not knowing what's around the next corner, and in its place you feel the confidence of knowing that you're unstoppable, having beaten the master of the tower and all its minions to an absolute pulp just moments before. The music shifts impeccably from pure anxiety to a confident groove. And yet, in the middle of it all, the melancholic vibes cut in to remind you that after everything, it's finally almost over. It's an incredible emotional ride from start to finish.

even though it's really not meant for humans, it's still really really fun to try to play stuff that you know probably won't work i learned the melody of oregano mirage on my viola, and it's hard but you feel so cool pulling it off
  • @corvcorv
Oregano Mirage is SO underrated I don’t hear enough people talking about it and it’s one of my favorite songs off the ost
  • we really love Extraterrestrial Wahwahs because it breaks the convention of putting a spooky theremin in "alien music", and instead goes with a funky wah guitar and some intermittent atonality. really unique take on the theme it's portraying, and still works super well!
  • @thathyze
You should definitely check out the two songs that appear in arguably the best level Pig City "Bite the Crust" and "Way of The Pig" ! And also, my personal favorite, "Tunnely Shimbers" !
  • @aplix747
I think the electric guitar part in "extraterrestrial wahwas" might be the most badass part of the whole OST, which is a lot considering I think almost every song is a solid 10/10
  • @Jack_Woods
I feel like the calm parts of Bye Bye There sorta represent what the player and to an extent probably the characters are feeling while you escape the Crumbling Tower of Pizza, reminiscing about all the good times you had with all the level gimmicks, and realizing how far you've gone since barely knowing how to play the game to that point Then the music kinda reminds you to continue rushing, and right before the final stretch there's the finality of realizing Pizza Man is defeated, and this is finally the end of Peppino's torment to save his Pizzeria, and all the new friends he made along the way And then, give it closure with Pizza Time going harder than ever before, what the entire game used to cause anxiety and at times be your defeat, is now Peppino's cheer, like the fear is gone and you're now riding the wave, confident that you've got what it takes this time around
  • @WhatJoSays
Honestly I think you should react to ALL the boss themes, Pepperman Strikes (which you already listened to), Calzonification, Pumpin’ Hot Stuff, and Pizza Time Never Ends. They’re ALL amazing in their own right, and I think you’ll have a blast listening to them. Amazing reaction as always, SPG!
  • Unlike It’s Pizza Time! which emphasizes more on “GET THE HELL OUTTA HERE,” Bye Bye There! emphasizes more on “You’re almost there, brother. Soak it in. Enjoy the finale.” That truly makes Bye Bye There! one of the best songs in the game.
  • @bigimp3018
I heavily recommend pizza time never ends, its my personal favorite boss theme
  • @shoesuke3919
The hat he wears while playing the instrument just seems to give him all the funky powers.
  • @FrinniferFran
A few of my favorite tracks are Yeehaw Delivery Boy, Bite the Crust, Way of the Pig, Thousand March (Which you’ve previously listened to) and Wudpecker. They’re all VERY different (save for Bite the Crust and Way of the Pig being from the same level) but each one encapsulates their respective levels perfectly
  • @retro6416
Awesome stuff! I'm still going to suggest Good Eatin, Dungeon Freakshow, Celsius Troubles (as well as it's counterpart "Don't Preheat your oven beacuse if you do the song won't play.") But I'm gonna throw you a bit of an underrated one in my opinion. "Unearthly Blues" the first level theme! I think people don't give it enough credit, but besides the title screen, hub world, and tutorial themes, it's the first piece of music you hear in game, and I think it deserves more love.
