After the infamous “Monstrous Monday” session, we all wondered when we might get another swell that big again here in Jersey. It’s rare to get a swell that big here and almost heard of to get two back to back in a season less than a month apart. Here is an unfiltered look of the day featuring a crew of the usual numbskulls both local and other East coast surfers.

    Great video. Tone and no music is perfect. Takes you right to that feeling of those days when you are watching perfect waves go by but you spend hours getting smoked, taking sets on the head, and battling current. The reality of a maxing beach break. Props to these warriors.

    big dogs @3:56 - nice drop - I couldn't tell whether or not he'd make the barrel, but if he had, that would have been completely epic. @4:32 - you have to be able to survive that situation to play in the big leagues - me - never in that kind of shape. I don't know how people can hold their breath AFTER getting it knocked out of them...
