I don't think I could meet 500 dying children and not be completely devastated after all of it. Gotta hand it to the man, this really takes a special kind of person.

Like Cena or not, he's a great guy and you can't deny that.

John cena will always be one of the most respected celebrities I have ever saw.

Damn... Can't stop the tears. Thank you Mr. Cena for all the joy you have given these kids and their families.

I met him in 2005 in edmonton. All the big names came out in there limos but then there comes Cena and Tonka walking out the back , Cena told the fans let me just put my bags on the bus and ill be right back. He did that , came back and signed autographs for everyone who waited. He was a humble man then and even to this day he remains unchanged. He is truely an admirable man.
  • I don't understand why people boo at such a awesome, kind hearted man. Nowadays are there any wrestlers like John Cena?? I love him a lot

How can anyone hate this man. He's a class act in the ring and, as has long been the case, an incredible human being. You hear terrible stories about shady dealings in the wrestling industry but when you see videos like this it really does remind me that there are some great ppl in the industry too.
  • Revisiting in 2022 after he crossed the 600 mark. What an amazing person. He was barely on my radar before, but I won't forget him now.

John is the embodiment of "Love Him or Hate Him you sure damn Respect him"

A lot of people hate john Cena and say they don't have to respect him because of what he does. If you think about it, when was the last time you saw a WWE superstar that can hold the weight of the entire company on their shoulders and still able to take their own personal time off to make a young kids dream come true. I like and dislike John Cena but for what he has done for the WWE and what he does for these kids shows why I respect the man.

I may not agree with everything inside the ring. But this guy is one hell of a guy.

I was a make a wish kid back in 2000. I got to meet stone cold Steve Austin and ric flair. Today I’m 35 and still on dialysis but I’m still here. That day was truly the best day of my life. Thank u Make a wish for granting all these kids wishes

Cena has always been a great guy. I’m reminded of the Sammy Sosa story where he wanted like $100,000 to show up for a kid’s make a wish. When the organization couldn’t cut that check, he just refused to do it and a couple of his Chicago Cubs teammates felt bad and did the make a wish in place of Sosa.
