Nitin Gadkari (Minister of Road Transport & Highways and MSME) discusses the infrastructure push for roads to help India grow, with Padmaja Joshi, Times Network.

'We have constructed an average of 35 kilometres of roads per day in the last 380 days. I am very loyal to my departments. The idea is to up targets and motivates people to do better. We are hoping to increase construction to 40 kilometres per day. Toll collection is at Rs 34,000 crore despite lockdowns and farmers protests. There are 17 roads made in such a way that an aeroplane can land in emergency situations,' says Nitin Gadkari.

    I live in village in assam.. there is a big river in my village omand for decades it has only a wooden bridge which was very difficult for traveling.. then in 2016 gov censored a pakka bridge (172m)and it was completed last month and it it changes whole transportation problem now.. thanks to bjp 🙏
