“I don’t really talk in depth about submarine capabilities...it’s the silent service” That gave me goosebumps 😎

Had the pleasure of serving with then Captain and now Admiral Paparo twice in my naval career. The man doesn't change for the cameras. This is him. Direct, confident (but never arrogant) and loyal to the United States.

"If I don't want to be hit, there's something I can do about it" the way he says it is so reassuring

God bless people trying to keep the open dialogue.

I like how admiral answers questions, briefly and spot on. Politicians need to learn from military

“Sailors join the navy to see the world.” my brother did not join to see the world but because he felt he had a duty Sir. Seeing the world was probably the last thing on my brothers mind! He is currently active & deployed.

The idea that we are moving closer to WW3 and nobody seems concerned is just flat out insane.

You can always tell when they're interviewing a military person or a politician. The military person answers "Yes" or "No" and then explains why, while the politician spends 5 minutes talking without ever answering the question!

Remember, everyone deployed. God bless you all. 🇺🇸 All the way.
  • “It’s not my hope it’s my duty”. No stronger words have been spoken. I admire his intensity and directness.
  • Respect to the admiral for holding his tongue when talking about submarines. Some cards shouldn’t be shown

Proud to be a U.S. Navy Sailor 🇺🇸
  • It gave me confidence in our country when the admiral said the navy was ready without hesitation.

Ok this makes me feel ALOT better knowing there is at least ONE man in a U.S. position of leadership that seems like they have a head on their damn shoulders.
  • As someone who has just completed a 6 year contract with the US NAVY, this is VERY shocking to see on national television. Most people seeing this may not think much of it, but us sailors are very worried, and put on high alert. Most Americans won’t see what is said and done behind the scenes, but rest assured, we have the strongest Navy in the entire world. And I’m proud to say I’m part of it.

Thanks America and the mighty armed forces.
