Donut: "Car theft is getting out of hand!" Car theft: ends immediately

As a German, I find the fact that the thiefs had to pay import taxes and tariffs on the Bugatti hilarious but also awkwardly on point with our tax system.

He was trying so hard to not say that its all the hood cars that get stolen the most 💀

The best modern car security: a manual transmission

I used to work at a dodge dealer and we had 2 hellcats stolen one night, a track hawk and a Durango. They somehow disabled the trackers, we heard nothing for weeks, and then the trackers went off one day I guess as they were removed and one ended up in Germany and the other in China. It’s insane how many hellcats get stolen

I really think that Jeremiah’s videos on how to steal a car are playing a big part on this phenomenon😂

In summary, dont buy a charger if you dont have a secured garage. Get aftermarket antitheft equipment. Hide a magnetic tracker under the car in a crevice thats not visible and make sure that tracker a cell service connectivity. Have a proximity alert device on your car so that you can get alerted when it leaves the radius you set. If youre going to buy a hellcat, best be prepared to get all this stuff to protect your toy

To prevent my car from being stolen, I surround it with blank job applications, work boots, alarm clocks, and Maury re-runs.

The dj screw dad hat was the real winner of this episode. Well done James.

Nothing worse than being a car guy and getting your car stolen. My 95 Miata was stolen a little over a year ago and I think I'm still shaking off the trauma of that experience.

Ever since i got my car I would of never thought I would've been a victim of car theft. That was until, one day when I was at work, they managed to steal my 97 civic from the parking lot. Back then, I was a recent high school graduate who was working at your local Mcdonalds so you can imagine the impact this would of had on me. How was I gonna get to work? How was I gonna get to school? How was I gonna pick up my siblings from school? Fortunately for me though, as soon as I realized it was missing, I called my local police and they were able to find it a few hours later still in good shape. It sucks to know that for a lot of people, they dont get so lucky and end up finding their cars stripped to the bare metal in the middle of nowhere. Since then, Ive gotten a brake lock and made sure to park in well lit areas with cameras.

As a previous owner of a hemi charger I can confirm that at about 2020, insurance rates were starting to skyrocket with the popularity of them being stolen so much and I KNOW that's the reason for the jump cause I have had a clean record my entire driving career. I still miss her.

One of the woldest things I have seen was at Walgreens. I pulled into the parking lot, there was a Charger parked in the nearest spot at the entrance. I went in for no more than 5 minutes to get a pack of Twizzlers, when I walked out the Charger was sitting on the brake rotors with all four wheels gone. Whoever stole those wheels need to go and tryout for Nascar or F1 because they were fast.

My 1967 Firebird got stolen a few weeks ago out a secure barn. The same thieves took 2 other classic cars around the city in the same night, totaling $120k. I live in a place where car theft was never a problem until recently. recovering cars is just not a priority for my local, county and state police. Really sucks that it’s gone as that’s what got me into cars.

Had my Trackhawk stolen in 2021. Heard it start from inside my apartment and ran outside to see the taillights leaving the parking lot. Instantly pulled up the gps tracker and called the police. The state troopers caught up to him on the highway and he ran the tank dry trying to get away eventually blowing the engine at 160 mph after I turned off the car remotely. He ended up being bailed out from jail the same night unfortunately and I never heard what happened with the case. Insurance paid me more than I bought the car for so that was nice.

I can testify to older Accords getting stolen. I had a 94' accord back in 07'. For a 20 year old kid at the time, it was a pretty decent car to have since I had bought it from a bit older friend who had it repainted, lowered it (cut springs, I know they suck), had subs, exhaust, stick shift, and some nice black/steel 18's on low pros were on there. Within 2 years they tried to steal it 6 times. The first 2 times they failed & just jacked up my window gasket/rubber trim. I then installed a touch sensitive alarm with remote feedback. I remember waking up 4 times that same summer to having them try and break in and even caught one of them running down the street. Heck, they even had tagged up the garage door at the apartment I used to park at. My downstairs neighbor one day told me the graffiti was an auto theft ganging marking my car to be stolen. I got rid of that thing & got a 3 series, and no one ever bothered me again.

Few years back a guy that lived in my neighborhood had his challenger stolen from his driveway by a couple of teens. Problem was this dude was in a biker gang that one, didn’t take too kindly to having one of its members robbed and two, was extremely well connected with the criminal element. Few days later his car was back in his driveway and there was a missing persons report filed on two teens that were known car thieves. Last I heard they still hadn’t been found.

Thieves who steal Dodge cars are already being punished as soon as they drive away.

I wonder why hellcats are the most stolen…

Hellcats are like fried chicken. Some people just can't help themselves.
