The F-16 has one of the highest pitched engines among fighters. You do not want to get too close to that intake!

Congratulations to Miss Colorado 2023, Madison Marsh for becoming Miss America 2024. Through this venture she will get closer to attaining further goals and will certainly attract more females to the USAF. She is beautiful, intelligent, determined, motivated and kind hearted. I truly enjoyed the text she wrote and presented last night as part of the competition. She portrayed a young 16 year old pilot, flying solo and ready for take off. It was just perfect. It reflected who she is, her journey, her inspirations and determination. It made her stand out from the other participants. Bravo ! Madison Marsh, you are an inspiration and we wish you all the success in the world.

I like that she said she was "trying to make it a positive thing for the Air Force, for everyone." She was humble and did not specify any one, or patronize anyone.

When she returns, she can tell them she's been promoted. Miss America now!

I wish I was still teaching, I would show this video to all of my girls who would watch in awe, I hope all educators show this video to their classes, she is so inspirational...exactly what America needs right now!

I was impressed with Madison's answers in the Miss America Pageant and her gorgeous red evening gown, but THIS OMG she is a bad azz Miss America!! Since I'm a Texan, I was rooting for Miss Texas, when it came down to the final 2. Both ladies are very impressive, but Miss Colorado won and Wow she is something else! What an amazing young lady to represent us around the world! She mentioned her Mom passed away from cancer at only age 41, I'm sure she is watching from above so very proud of her daughter.

I enjoyed seeing the preparation that goes into being fitted for the necessary equipment and the associated training for the ejection sequence (not shown) and controlling post deployment parachute control and PLF. This was no fluff piece. Congratulations to Lt. Marsh on all of her accomplishments and to the crew assisting her.

She is a good pilot, seems humble and grateful too. I like how they are all a brother/sisterhood--the USAF looks awesome.
