Pokémon Scarlet and Violet have the WORST legendaries in the ENTIRE SERIES

Scarlet and Violet perfectly exemplifies the difference between the older design philosophy and the newer design philosophy with Past and Future Paradox Pokemon, with Past Paradox Forms being the more logical approach in terms of biology. Future Paradox Pokemon are just cyborg-esque versions of their normal counterparts, and they don't properly convey how Pokemon would adapt to their future environments. Also, even for newer Future Paradox Pokemon like Miraidon, it's too foreign of a concept for animal/dinosaur-like monsters to have literal jet engines slapped on their legs, and it's a really awkward way to convey the future design.

I feel like some of the non-legendary gen 9 Pokemon are also bad. Sure, every generation has their share of bad Pokemon designs, but some of gen 9's Pokemon look un-Pokemon-like. Nacli is a Super Mario powerup. Naclstack is a Minecraft mob. Armarouge and Ceruledge are Megaman robot masters. Gholdengo is a food mascot. Tinkaton in my opinion looks like a Pokemon and it is cute, but at the same time, it looks like Amy Rose.

I dropped pokemon after alola, I don't know what happened it's almost like the entirety of gamefreak got a fucking lobotomy, most of the newer mons look goofy as hell

Maybe these new legendary designs wouldn’t suck so much if they didn’t insist on having 10+ legendaries in just ONE generation. Legendaries don’t even feel special anymore because there are too many of them.

Yapping bomb incoming 🗣️ 🗣️ 🗣️ Out of all the trios, Coballion is probably the least offensive. The loyal three are incredibly boring, the legendary beasts were basically given big heads and giraffe necks making them look goofy af, and chien pao was the only good treasure, that candy bowl deer can rot. As for Miraidon, I still like it’s ride form, and it having foldable limbs, but dam they needed it to cook longer. Ogerpon is literally baby nut. Set it on fire, has to be one of the ugliest designs next to Pecharunt and the Yassified tortoise. Koraidon imo is the ugliest of the regular legendaries. Everything about it felt unnecessary. What was that crest, feathers and hair, why did it even have black tires? Cyclizar has the same issues but is just more boring. I can at least tolerate the eyes since it’s a lizard. In conclusion, the yapping is strong with me because these designs suck.

I think the problem is that these Pokémon dont look "Legendary" at all like i feel like these pokemon would be used for the e4 at most

Chi-yu is actually my favourite gen 9 legendary Pokemon!

I despise the loyal three because they look like an interpreted drawing of a 5 year olds scribbles, terrapagos looks like shit because it had no cool ideas or any key elements that made it cool or nice. The treasures of ruin are pretty cool, I like wo-chien because I kinda just vibe with him and the rest of the treasures are nicely designed. However the future paradoxes are so fucking ugly. They look so much more rushed compared to the past paradox pokemons, speaking of the past paradox mons, they’re all pretty cool. I think the designs are all pretty nice. As for the bikes, I like Koraidon a bit because it looks better than miraidon. Koraidon looks like it should of had scales on the model, but it is called the “winged king as its’ paradox name. Miraidon could of been designed after a monitor lizard. Just take the pun of monitor lizard, it could make sense. Also I have a bias for Chi-Yu for being a fish since I like fish, yeah that’s all I gotta say.

I honestly like the battle forms of these pokemon but yeah even I had problems at times. Giving them wings was weird af and feels so forced as the design to fly for both. Also Koraidon not being able to use wheels is dumb af when wheels are possibly the oldest invention known to man. Also the loyal three are ass.

you had me at the wochien being bad, but then you just had to ruin it with saying the bikes look like shit. they don't. also what's bad with the bikes being all terrain vehicles? nothing wrong with it and at least they played a major part of the story unlike most other legends.
