Mazda CX-5 - Bi-Xenon with AFS and HBC

Published 2013-08-23
This video is a quick demonstration of the high beam control of the CX-5. The lights showing the state of this include a green indicator (light with "A") under the tacho. This shows that the high beams are on and being auto controlled.

The system uses a video camera mounted in the windscreen to detect lighting conditions and vehicles in sight (both brake lights and headlights).

If the system detects the right conditions, the high beams are enabled (blue high beam indicator under the speedo).

The system does this automatically and doesn't need the driver to interact.

In this video, the system activates twice.
