In this video you will get to see what car dealers are actually paying for their cars and trucks at auction!
My name is Brandon and I am a used car dealer. I created Car Questions Answered to share the ins and outs of the used car market from my perspective. I share with you updates on car prices, what's happening at the dealer auctions, and what it's like being a dealer. My goal is to share information to help you make the best decisions while buying a car to save you money. I do not want car dealers taking advantage of you.

I would rather buy a beater car than own a new one. Don't want to be in debt for years. Don't need the bells and whistles.

Newer vehicles are straight up trash. Anyone that buys a new vehicle is crazy. These CEOs have been forcing these POS vehicles on the market for a long time now. People are fed up.

Good Lord, a 2020 with 167,000 miles!!! Damn thing never cooled off!!!😉😁

Buddy of mine is a dealer, sold his lot three years ago lock stock and barrel. Today he advertises as a buyers agent. After small advertising, spot ads in regional paper, people contact him with what exactly they want. He goes to auctions, sends customers real time videos of cars. They make buying decision with ultimate high bid. He charges a flat fee, non refundable of $1000. People pay it, most of the time get the cars they want. He’s making money well above what he made as a mid to low price point dealer. Sign of the times? I used him to buy my daughter’s first car. 2020 Mazda CX50, 22k miles with a clean Carfax. It was immaculate, zero issues. At Sacramento auction, before dmv fees I paid $16000. $15k + his $1k. Unbeatable deal since this car would have sold for $20k plus at dealer lot.

13900 for a truck with over 100K miles? That's crazy
-
Most of these cars belong in the junkyard. And people are financing these things for 5 years. What a disaster.
-
those dealers at this auction are waaay overpaying
-
The biggest problem with the cars over 100 k is your going to have to start replacing everything all the bushings and mounts are at the end of there life so keep that in mind

The biggest danger with lifted 2015+ F-150's is that a lot of really ignorant guys cut the bars off the frame just behind the front wheels. Those are deflector bars that keep the wheels from decimating the aluminum floor pan/fire wall area where your legs are. Since those bars make it hard for guys to put big tires on their F-150, they often cut them off. Turns them into death traps and not many know to look for those bars before buying.

14k for that truck is already too much. And you know that dealer is going to try to get at least 25 out of it
-
Remember when these A-holes were saying, well if you want this vehicle your just going to have to pay the market adjusted price...well now, look who's crying now and FJB!
-
Borrow borrow borrow America is on borrowed time
-
It appears that the market is going to adjust to the consumer after all.

I have been in the used car dealership business for over 15 years. It is common practice for large dealerships to sell vehicles through auctions as a means of generating cash flow. This practice has been in place since the beginning as a dealer.

50 grand for a truck that’s crazy

The silent protesters are out there more than ever in droves (yes, play on words) with keeping their old cars running as long as possible. The 200k mile club are accepting more and more new members every day. Layman people are finally realizing that a car can run essentially forever if maintained properly.

My 2012 F250 XLT 4x4 has 230k miles on it and she still runs and drives like a dream, still looks new too.
-
The only people who actually own cars paid cash. Everyone else is just renting.
-
My wife and I both make 6 figures and I drive a 2012 Camry no payments LMAO
