Hail memory of the one of the greatest intellectual vocalists !. And extremely humble. I have had pleasure of personally knowing him since our first trip to India 1971' kudos to talented ,Manian. Ranga from Durban . South Africa.

Person of great humility. Such an accomplished stalwart did not mind singing with the accompaniment of such youngsters and before such small audience. He still enjoyed singing as much as he would at Madras Music Academy or at Shanmukhananda Hall packed with rasikas. It gives us a bit of glimpse into his great personality.
