Info text about the sport: Dambe is a striking martial art that originated as a form of boxing associated with the Hausa tribe butchers of West Africa. The sport involves one hand being wrapped with cloth into a balled fist for punching, while the weaker hand is used to ward off blows, kicks are allowed, the clinch can be utilized and in traditional Dambe matches weightclasses ain't a thing. Dambe matches are scheduled for 3 rounds that last 3 minutes per round and the goal is to deliver a single blow that causes any part of the opponent's body to touch the ground. However, the sport is considered dangerous as there is no medical staff present, especially at village events and athletes, aswell as spectators lack medical education.
