I live in Tucson for four years, so this video remembering me ten reason I love living in Tucson Arizona, I really love this City, Thanks for posting
  • @GoodDredd
C'mon make a real list. Reasons to not come to Tucson: High crime, homeless problem, huge drug problem, poorly maintained roads, 5 month long insane summer, and once you do the tourist thing there is very little to do in Tucson. Mexican food in Tucson is number one in the world however.

In Tucson for over 60 years. November to the end of April is Great! Smart people leave at the end of May and they don't come back till November. We call those smart people snowbirds. Hiking is great! The mountains are beautiful The sun shines a lot Just avoid the Summers It's too hot

Lived there for 13 years. Loved it. COVID hit, California migration hit. Home prices ridiculous, rent ridiculous. Crime ridiculous! Homeless ridiculous! What a shame. All I can say is if you move close to the city and that’s where you do your business, make sure you check the perimeter before getting out of your car. 9 times out of 10 someone will approach you. 0:15 out of ten someone will approach you, and not with good intentions.
  • This list is like reverse psychology. You won't like my city if you don't like something reasonably great.

I live here in the suburbs. Came from Midwest. Love it here. Weather in winter is near perfect. Spring warm with nice breezes. Summer hot but the monsoon’s bring really pretty thunderstorms with lightning displays and fall warm with nice breezes. Tucson has a couple nice malls and plenty of high end resorts. In my opinion it’s beautiful especially in the foothills with all the desert trees. SO much prettier than let’s say Phoenix metro. Plus 9000 foot MT.Lemmon with gorgeous pine trees is not too far away.
  • I'm an introvert. Tucson sounds like fkn heaven to me: artsy, spaced out living areas, bird watching, beautiful sunsets. I wanna book a 4-5 day get away and check it out! 😍😍 The no freeway suuuucks tho. I'm also a Scorpio. I wonder if the scorpions will love me. lol

Tucson mayor Romero needs to stop her playtime and be a real mayor. It's gotten so bad with illegal immigrants here. Beautifying Tucson is one thing, focus on immigration, the homeless, transportation, fentanyl etc..those sre priorities. She needs to acknowledge that is a big problem here. She went to DC with other city mayors. Romero stuttered in her interview in DC, but never mentioned the immigration issue 🧐. One thing she NEVER has discuss the border issues. AP Reporter saw the percentage of citizens complaining & are unhappy on social media. It's honestly a big problem. And disappointedly we voted for her. 🤨

I used to live there in the 80's. Winters are great and even summers are not that bad, humidity is low so it in not uncomfortable at all. Even in summer one can hike in late afternoons and evenings. Because it is a desert, temperature falls down quickly after the sunset. The weather is so stable that you seldom need to listen to the forecast. The sprawling campus of the University of Arizona is very vibrant and cosmopolitan.

Recently spent a week in staying in downtown Tucson as a visitor. The historic buildings and walkability made it quite fun and interesting. However, your downtown is being taken over by drug addicts, mentally ill and homeless. We were told by our hotel to use extreme caution at night and avoid walking. During 7 days we experienced aggressive panhandling, attempted car break-in, mid-day arrest and foot chase and being berated by homeless. We had a very pleasant dinner at a wonderful restaurant one night but the walk back to the car was a sketchy gauntlet of homelessness. Many nice things about downtown, but not in a hurry to return - too bad.
  • I was raised in Tucson in the 50s and 60s and I can tell you that it was a great place to grow up then. Don't know so much about now though as govt and demografics have changed.
  • @bmichael8187
I lived there five years, the things I don't like about Tucson: Trashy people , shitty roads, bad government, lazy and uneducated people, University of Arizona sucks (even ASU is better) crappy DEI mayor and government, city is backward and most of the city has made no progress or growth since the 70s or 80s and looks that way, Whole swaths of the city are incredibly ugly, and lots of crack heads and other drug addicts. The pros include beautiful mountains and National Park and some trails. The food and things she claims in the video are things that any city has and virtually every other place in the US else beats it on every measure. This person in the video said she hasn't lived anywhere else so she has no perspective. The only award this city has ever received is the " city of gastronomy" which was probably just given out for PC reasons and the food they are talking about is mainly mexican food which all cities have now.

Me and my partner are planning to buy a home next fall in Tucson. These videos make me want to move there sooner! We are in Washington state and are done with the rain. I can't wait to make Tucson my new home.

Living in Tucson for about 12 years. I learned you have to be careful when it comes to driving people in Tucson, who can't drive. Summer lasts 6 to 7 months out of the year. It can be 80 degrees but it feels hotter. The roads out here suck and construction is constant.
  • @cactuscosyusa
You missed the main reasons people don't like Tucson. The heat in the summer. Its only second to Phoenix in that respect, its unbearable unless you have A/C or a Swamp Cooler. Expect a high electric bill in the summer to pay for your A/C. High rents too.The roads full of potholes, expect damage to your cars suspension, lack of street lighting, poor street drainage so expect flooding in the monsoon, and too much traffic and a lot of road rage.
  • @jameskann951
That Heat is pretty hot. If you move there from a colder Climate try to find shade as much as possible. How are you in a A.C. Environment? Nights are much easier then the Days there. Mexico is close by too.

I’m totally into birding, so I’ll be spending a few months near Tucson in ‘24. I love New England but Dec thru March gets dark, cold, downright depressing.
