In this video, I'll be showing you how to uninstall malware from your Android device—even that dreaded $500 "FBI" ransomware Moneypak virus. Rather than fighting through endless pop-ups, screen-jacking malware, or even general sluggishness, just boot into Safe Mode to make the whole process faster.

Your skipped the bit where you actually show us how to locate and remove malware.
  • If it won't let you uninstall the malware. Go to Security. Then device administrators and turn off what shouldn't be there.

I was about to put my cell phone beside my head and pull the trigger on both of us, but your video saved us from going six foot down. Best video ever! I've had this problem for about three months now, pop up ads every thirty seconds or close to that. I tried everything including going to Metro PCS to fix the problem. I even called Google, nothing ever worked, but your video sure did. It was just as fast and as easy as you said it would be. I'm nominating you for sainthood. Thanks so much! Semper Fi America

Thanks so much for this! Worked like a charm. While in safe mode i went to my apps and i found a blank app with no name and lots of data stored up and i uninstalled it and it's gone! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

OMG... YOU SAVED ME!!! Thank you. I had a 'fake' messenger app that was hijacking my phone, including the settings! The safe mode allowed me to fix it... you're a lifesaver!

Another great way to remove malware is to go to settings, click on device care, then click on security then scan you phone and your phones should scan for malware and remove it
  • IT WORKED!!! THANKS! before, ever time I unlocked nut phone, it would open my internet and brought all these "virus" pages to download virus removal apps... and random full screen ass would pop up on anything. .. THANKS SOOOOO MUCH! !!! IT'S ALL GONE NOW

Outstanding... I know this probably did not work for everyone, but it did for me. My LG Android had an ad/malware attached to my Google Chrome App. Could not get around the "Free Spin" shit. Took your advise: went into safe mode, uninstalled the Chrome App, reinstalled an updated version of Chrome App, and all was right with the world. Thank you...

Great video, thank you for the simple no nonsense. Straight forward instructions. I have a question though, about the dloaded apps section that you mention. In that section of several of my phones I've found many apps that were factory installed in this section, not just my dloaded apps. Should this alarm me, or is that normal? Also, some, if not all of those apps I usually cannot delete all the way. I can only delete back to factory version of the app. Is this normal, or should I be alarmed about it?
  • Thank you it worked in a flash... It was a hidden/blank icon application. I managed to see it in safe mode tho and I removed it immediately. So thank you very much!

Super helpful video. Solved all my problems thanks man
  • This guy knows what he is talking about. Those ads Don't pop up no more. Thank you brother!!! You were right, I went to settings, then apps and seen the app that was causing the problem, a fishy app that installed itself by hitting the close button. I uninstalled it right away. Problem gone.

My phone is fucked lmao. It's filled with fucking pop ad apps and is just filling my phone with fucking useless apps. I have no fucking idea why this is happening, seriously what the fuck.
  • After trying multiple suggestions to uninstall MyDailyWeather from my Google Pixel, this did the job! What a relief! Thank you!
  • @wolverene84
Thank you so much, you saved my phone and my work and everything. I just hope they weren't able to download anything like passwords and bank details.
