From another perspective, we do not have a functional legal system
  • @Shih47
If he deteriorates as fast as now in the future, by the time the case goes to court, he will be too demented to stand trial
  • @callen8908
He may enjoy protection by this SCOTUS, but nothing can change his lack of character or his public decline into babbling madness

Ridiculous...its obviously apparent there are tiers of justice.

That SCOTUS ruling left enough holes that they would get to have the final say on whether the charges against X45 can go to trial. X45 wins whether there are further delays or whether SCOTUS decides that the law doesn't apply to him. (Given how they don't think the law applies to themselves, I have absolutely no faith they will do a good thing, let alone the right thing.) I hope DoJ can help Smith exploit any holes in that patently poor decision.
  • It’s amazing all the hoops the prosecutor has to go through to get to the result we already know. Good thing for Trump he has all that republican campaign and donation money to keep him afloat. Not good for justice though.

the delays are actually good for us? come on! we are not stupid

I will wait until the end of time for a proper case being presented as long as the Mango Mussolini ends up in prison.

Sorry, but my patience wears out after 4 years.

No chance the SCOTUS will start caring about justice at this late date--but I still think President Biden should issue an Executive Order on it. Just two topics: (1) That "faithfully execute the office" includes "obey the laws" and (2) No presidential pardons for people who claim they are "helping" the president by committing crimes. Of course any criminal president can toss the EO, but at least we'll get a laugh reading the "reasoning". Or even funnier if the SCOTUS weighs in on why the EO is unconstitutional.

I have to post this again after Donald Trump called VP Kamala Harris the B word? Is that his criticism! , So, a question to all Fox News Women Anchors and women followers: You don't feel any emotion when Donald Trump dehumanizes women with such belittling and in such a misogynistic manner Why would you keep quiet about it?
  • @annakingry9157
I'm thinking the 12 th of Never will be the trial date.
  • @aaacccbbb3618
Delay the election. Does the American People want to have a criminal in the White House? it is therefore crucial to clarify the profile of the candidates before the election, and the doubt about having a possible criminal as a candidate is a fundamental aspect for the election.
  • Don't delay too long we want that traitor in prison before election
  • Sadly, the strategy not only needs legal review, but also has to wait to predict the political results in November. SCOTUS is completely political at this point. Assume 2 will go against him before he even files anything, and expect those 2 to retire. But the other younger "conservative" judges are going to save their own necks. If they see Harris will be POTUS, and the Dems win Congress, they won't rock the boat. Watch for an amazing transformation to moderation in all things if the Dems can begin creating laws that allows for basic SCOTUS oversight.
