    I was educated in the 40's and 50's when teachers actually knew what they were teaching........I ofcourse got 100%.......English was my favorite subject.

  • 20/20 but I'm a native speaker. A couple could have two correct answers: "Many folktales are fictitious/nonsense" and "She's at/in work all day". The difference in the latter is more to do with where you, the speaker, are in relation to the subject: If you were in a different location from her you'd use "at" - "She's not here, she's at work all day" but if she was a work colleague and you were both in the office you'd use "in" - "Come round anytime, she's in work all day".

    20/20 for me. I'm 67 years years old and obviously my brain is working pretty good. I found the quiz quite easy. Maybe something a little harder next time, but it was fun for me. Thank-you for this.
