Comanche Nation Festival 3 - Storytelling by Rita Coosewoon

Numunu Voices in the Wind is the first festival brought to the museum by the Comanche Nation of Oklahoma, celebrating the culture and heritage of the "Lords of the Plains." In this segment, elder Rita Coosewoon relates stories of Comanche life and her involvement as a Comanche language teacher.

The festival was webcast and recorded in the Potomac Atrium of the National Museum of the American Indian on November 28, 2014.

    Such a treasure she has so much knowledge of the Comanche nation and of all nations of this country she has so much valuable information ones need to hear and listen she is trying to share and give us knowledge it's good to have and always remember and share with your family never forget never never forget thank you for sharing ❤️❤️❤️
