It depends on the post office. At mine, the other carriers will not deliver to the post office no matter what. I've encountered other post offices that will accept packages from other carriers only if you pay them the full shipping amount in cash when you go to recieve your package. That's in addition to what you've already paid UPS or Fedex.

I have a PO box and the PO. Box is listed on my ebay address and my street address as well. I just assume the seller is to arrogant to make the small effort to ship to my street address. Being the asshole he appears to be, I would rather buy it from someone else anyway.

Thanks just put a big order in with no issues!!!!!! Awesome. When I first put the order in 2 out 15 items said couldn't ship to my P.O. Box. They have separate charges for shipping so I don't see any problems has commented below cross my fingers.
  • NOTHING makes me madder than for a shipper NOT to ship to PO Boxes. it has happened tons of times to me. i live on a closed gated farm with no street mail box. makes me mad as all get-out. the lady clerk at the local post office told me to do this same thing you just said. i may go one step further and drop my USPS PO Box $160 a year and get a local rental box (with no box#) at a private mail room in town $98 a year. it is a UPS station with mail boxes in it. they tell me anything can be sent there from anywhere and all sellers will send to it's address. why do sellers think i have a po box ???????????????? makes me mad to the core. thx 4 video.

Can you just say Unit #862 instead that way the shipper isn't suspicious?

Not sure if you are talking about simple, individual sellers - since you mentioned ebay and amazon. but would this work for actual company stores? Like there's something I want to buy from Gamestop (gaming retailer) but they say they usually won't ship that type of item to a PO box. Would just like to know if works in this case, or if it's only meant to 'trick' single/independent sellers.

Question: Some times P.O. Box uses different zip codes from the actual location of the post office. Which zip code do you use, P.O. Box or Actual post office location zip code?
