Exploring The Arizona Desert For Gold Nuggets

Published 2020-12-27
I just had to get out today for a break from the Holiday stuff to cruse the desert and try for a nugget or two. What a beautiful Arizona day it was so let's go for a buggy ride, shall we?

  • No Bill your not boring, keep showing the good and bad finds. Like you , I look at square nails and other so called trash and imagine the history behind it. I love the ride along views of the desert and imagine what took you an hour to get to, took the old timers days.
  • I find it hard to except , that people would really give a thumbs down on a video. This clearly shows me that people have no idea all the work put in to get the show edited and posted for us viewers. As always , thanks Bill. My father came home many years ago from visiting your neck of the woods. And he came home with animal figures carved out of that Iron wood. Beautiful pieces of work. Hard to believe these carvings came from living things.
  • Hey Bill. I am from the Pacific Northwest, near Seattle, and I am more accustomed to seeing a different type of forest. But, after listening to your loving description of the desert forests, I am beginning to appreciate their beauty as well. Thank you, and God bless.

Your expertise and appreciation for gold hunting are precisely the reason I watch all you videos. Accurately depicting what to expect and not to expect is the only way. Keep doing it because the real gold hunters know its not always heavy pans. It takes a lot of hard work and perseverance to find that precious stuff.
  • Bill, if finding gold was as easy as finding lead, everyone would be doing it! Keep it real!
  • Your passion for your forest is as strong as it is with myself and mine. You have snakes where I have grizzly bears and cow moose. I haven't seen a sky that blue in a very long time. Gorgeous ! ! !. Thanks a bunch for keeping this real my friend. It is what it is eh. All the best of the best to you and Tammy. Dogs too !

You do a good job Bill I’ve been at detecting Gold 38 years and there’s always something to learn There’s a lot of beginners out there. If they find it so much gold they don’t need to watch your channel anyways The hardest part to detecting nuggets is gold knowledge and it’s endless. Thank you Bill for sharing your gold knowledge with the rest of the world . This knowledge is hard to come by .

We who watch you love what you do! never let a negative Nancy get you down. IMO - you are the best on YouTube and yes today I found a lot of nuggets unfortunately it was just aluminum can fire pit slaw on the beach.

what that guy doesn't like about your videos, is exactly why I watch them, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. You are the most honest and down to earth gold prospector on You Tube Bill. Just keep doing what your doing. You don't have 10K subscribers for nothing. Thanks for what you do Bill.
  • Bill , i enjoy your videos with or without gold , when you do find gold i feel like ive found it too , im learning alot from your daily travels , keep up your honesty , thank you.
  • @WestCoastCub322
I watch all your videos start to finish. Have not found a video of yours that i didnt learn something, or get a different idea on how to do things. If you had a video with the title "Only junk today" i would watch it. You bring detecting to life. Keep doing what you do.
  • Keep it real! Those of us that do go out know that there are way more days of not finding gold
  • Having been a photojournalist for 42 years I think you have some of the best videos out there Bill. Don't care if you don't find gold every time and that you show the trash. You quality of videos is great, good sound, and very informative both on the gold and nature you show and talk about. Just spent nine days the first of December out your way detecting 7 hours every day. Only got one piece of gold this trip. Last trip I was getting 2 to 5 per day for 4 days. That's the way it is, sometimes awesome gold and sometimes you just have to try new areas and enjoy the desert if you're not finding anything.
  • I agree with you Bill the hunt for the gold the company, senery and the the satisfaction of finally finding a nugget is more precious than the gold itself. Happy New Year and thanks for keeping it real!
  • @gregs2509
Honesty is always the best. It leads to integrity which is a fast disappearing quality. And just like a day out in the desert looking for gold, money can't buy that!
  • @allenmaner6616
Keep doing what you do, keeps my interest. Thanks for taking me with you.
  • There is a lot of fake people in this world. And my opinion is that you are not fake. You show us how it really is, and if people want to live in a dream world where everything is easy. I for one fell sorry for them. Keep up the great videos. Thanks for keeping it real !!!
  • @doak4886
I have never been bored by one of your videos. I got to ride through the desert with you today.
