  • Now we know why Vault-Tec had instructions for 76 to secure the missile silos.

Matt Berry as Codsworth was the absolute best casting decisions.

Consider that the "plague" that forced Vault 33 to lock down was simply a convenient excuse to lock the inhabitants in their quarters so that Hank and Betty could go after Hank's wife and then blow up Shady Sands without the inhabitants of Vault 33 noticing Hank leaving and re-entering the vault. They then told the inhabitants of 33 that Hank's wife died from the plague. Any other inhabitants of Vault 33 that died from the "plague" could have been the ones that helped Hank's wife escape the vault. Just saying since it would be pretty convenient that a "plague" hit the vault at the exact time that would make it convenient for Hank to come and go from the vault without being noticed.

The ghoul says "a bounty came thru all six agencies" & there were six CEOs at that table. I wonder just how much "management" is left or if thats even what he meant.
  • Cold fusion is mentioned in Fallout 4 in the Institute. A terminal in Advanced Systems. Doctor Li ironically calls the technology a pipe dream, science fiction rubbishing the idea. One of her co scientists proposes reasearching the tech after finding pre war theory papers on it. Li shuts him down.

I like how the series basically gives all dogmeats a backstory. One could surmize they are all escaped dogs from the enclave breeding program. One way or another they get out and help strangers.

in the IGN interview, Todd confirmed NV is still cannon, the NCR is not entirely dead, and the nuke on Shady Sands fell just after the events of NV
  • that shaded figure is definitely the Enclave representative, since they are the ones who works close with those Companies powerhouses especially Vault-Tec
  • I don't think he is turning into a ghoul but that was an FEV mixture.

17:50 the year Hank said Rose died could be when she left the vault, not when she actually died, as Hank said she stop being Lucy's mother, so to him she was already dead, and it makes sense for them to say she died when she left

Barb is an Enclave member. I didn't even think that was vaguely hidden after that part in the boardroom. I just immediately assumed those were the shadowy people in the meeting.
  • A lot of the power armor changes can be attributed to the fact that the suits were real props for the most part, adding a jetpack to them would probably make them too immobile or cumbersome and also ridiculously heavy to wear.
  • @ViewlessDRH
wilzig knew about lucy because he was already meeting with the ncr who at that point already had plans to get hank, so by logic her telling him she was saving her father from vault 33 was a clear hint to who she might be to the doctor

Todd Howard said that when Shady Sands was nuked and "fall of NCR" are different dates, hence the arrow.
  • @mc_abber
todd confirmed with the recent interview with IGN that the fall of shady sands meant a steady decline and the eventual nuclear detonation happened just after the events of new vegas
  • Why is it that ppl just immediately assumed that the entirety of NCR is gone because of one city being lost ? I’m pretty sure that NCR have a few dozen region and cities that they still owns and that the NCR is still there, hell it’s very much possible that the destruction of the capital city is a major morale blow to the ncr that the higher ups decided to keep ot under wraps and this decision does not sit well with moldaver that she decided to just go awol and start recruiting anyone including raiders in order to enact revenge, a sentiment I’m pretty sure the shady sands survivors agreed and supports her while some people just doesn’t want to get involved with her like the lead farmers

@14:00 It is said by Muldaver that Lucy's mother lived in Shady Sands for a time. Perhaps the quarantine happened in 2277 to excuse her disappearance/leaving the vault, but not her death and the bombing. She lived on the surface for those 4 years. When she was found by Hank and Betty, it was 2281 and - kablam. I think the chalkboard thing was some oversight, but the rest all lines up.

Don't forget that the Shady Sands billboard they show states its as the FIRST NCR capital. Implying that the capital had moved at some point. So only Shady Sands is confirmed destroyed but the final state of the full NCR is still open.
