Got my tea, got a rainy Sunday evening, and got my favourite wood whisperer. Right this moment, life is truly wonderful. As the song says, "Somewhere in my youth or childhood, I must have done something good." Thank you for all the ways you make life's moments better for so many, Angie. You are appreciated.

It is a GOOD morning! A new video from Angie! Very informative and a glimpse into her creativity. Thanks Angie!
  • Nacho is STILL adorable and this flipping video is awesome!
  • @gfmiller
Thanks for sharing these! Forgot how much I loved the industrial cabinet. Also loved seeing Nacho during his internship.

Angie, I discovered your channel about a year ago and love everything you do. Lately I have watched a few similar furniture restorers and find that I often compare their work to yours. Many skip the steps you take, like sanding before cleaning and not paying attention to details. They don't take the same care that you do. And most don't share the same personality and thoughtful design. Thank you!
  • The neutral look is in these days. I like all of them lol Angie you just have the touch and vision. I love seeing not only what you do but the mind process you got thru before actually doing it. I can't believe Nacho was that tiny before either, he is such a beautiful baby. Hope this finds you all happy and healthy. See you next time!
  • I am a orangie, yellowish sort of amber coloured pine lover. I’ve got quite the collection of solid pine end tables, coffee tables, cabinets. The big square coffee table was naturally distressed by small grandchildren using it as an “office desk” and toy surface when we were the daycare space. The old pine colour compliments my love of warm orange comfort inducing colours in general. That said, I loved all the iterations of pine here, especially the first big heavy piece. Great work Angie.
  • Always glad to see your talents giving wood another chance.
  • You, Miss. Angie are a master craftsman. Beautiful work as always.
  • @karenzorn773
Loved how all these pieces turned out, just beautiful, never boring just amazing the transformation.
  • OMG Angie! Do another like this series, please. I'm not a complete novice, but getting ideas like this or just tips in general from you helps a lot! Maybe another vintage catalog thrown in for good measure, for the ones like me that try to keep the retro looks. LOL
  • I love the little clap you did when the draw slid in perfectly on the last piece. I marvel at how amazing your work is and would love to have even a quarter of your talent. Nacho is such a gorgeous cat. Thanks for always showing your critters. Love and hugs 🩷🐨🦘

I see my dresser! I'm excited to see what you will do 🙂

All of these pieces turned out great. My feeling about painting furniture is that if it gives it a second chance and saves it from the landfill it’s a win. There are so many options with redoing furniture and I’m not partial to any one type. All of your pieces turn out beautiful. 😊
  • Thank you for the Nacho clips. He is so adorable. Reminds me of my Tigger who has passed.
  • I enjoyed seeing all of the different ways to work with pine- but the kitten Nacho? I don't know how you handled the cuteness!!!!
  • My favorite was the next to last where you cut off the wavy parts and turned it into an apothecary. 🙂
  • @CamoJan
I loved EVERY one of them you did! You took that orangy tone away & made them perfect!

My favorite piece of furniture is my great grandmother’s Victorian-era pine dresser (has the attached mirror on a swivel if you know what I’m talking about. My mom put it in my bedroom when I was little—painted it white to go with a gawdawful amount of pink in the room (pink sheets, bedspread, lamps, curtains—it was like waking up in a bottle of Pepto Bismol). Anyway, the dresser came along with me as an adult, and years ago I had a pro strip off the white, treat the wood so it was more hydrated, and stain it with a walnut tone.
