Legacy Style is a huge addition actually. Remakes these days haven't been doing any of that retro gameplay style stuff, so the fact that they chose to put that in without it really being necessary for a complete final product is really cool. Whoever is managing this project at Konami seems to actually care

Just realized. They started with metal gear 3 because it’s the prequel. Makes sense. He said if it gets the right reception they will keep it going.

I’m a long time Metal Gear fan. Everything Okamura said gives me faith that Metal Gear is, for the time being, in the best hands possible. Can’t wait to play Delta.

Honestly the fact they have both the OG gameplay and the more modernised MGSV style gameplay is based af. Reeaaaalllllly hope this is a hit once it releases!

This gave me massive respect to the developers at konami, specifically the team behind this snake eater remake. The fact they are straight up telling us they messed up with the collection, and will continue to work on it is great to hear. Keeping them honest wanting fans to tell them when they are making any mistakes, and to keep watch over them to see if they are the team to truly bring back Metal Gear Solid. Bringing back David Hayter is also a big W.

Honestly a very neat detail to put in a legacy mode, the fact that it is even there shows that the devs care about the original aswell.

Keeping the original voice recordings was really smart. There was no way they were going to do it better.
