What does the Malfeasance Catalyst do?

Anyway, I apologize of the lack of recent uploads, I've been working on a video that's been taking ages (gathering data and analyzing it and such) but it should be done soon and I think it will be very useful to you guys and to the Destiny community as a whole. Stay tuned.

Note: The 20% buff to hand cannons that i was referring to in the video only applies to red and orange bar enemies. Even so, Vorpal granting 20% extra damage to bosses is a very welcome addition regardless.

While a unique effect would have been cooler, vorpal is a great perk for malfeasance because you typically lay into a boss or champ with it anyway.

The range bump + Vorpal is honestly much better than any gimmicky catalyst. I really like it.

Of course we're interested in a dps video! LP+Malf was good before the catalyst, people have just been sleeping on it. Whether or not vorpal increases the explosion damage of the skugs will be interesting. Banger vid as always Pre!

This is just a straight upgrade and I'll take that on a gun like Malfeasance any day, it already did great damage against higher health targets to begin with so getting Vorpal for free is icing on top, and the extra range is always appreciated. I think this is good, it was already a flashy gun so a little extra functionality to bring it a bit more relevance seems like a good way to go with it

This catalyst is everything I ever wanted for malfeasance. Range for PvP and vorpal for PvE. I love it.

Malf was a big help in the K1 lost sector to get the new Titan Chest. While it only stuns Unstop, it's also good at whittling down stunned barriers and the boss from time to time. Great in red bars too.

You mentioned the 20% off at got last season that wasn't to bosses vehicles or champs. It was to everything else so now compared to pre Lightfall it's doing 20% more damage than it did which is nice.

I know its not a unique perk, but i for one am very happy with Vorpal plus a range boost. Especially for my new light buddy who is very laid back and casual and already mains this HC, these bonuses will just help him keep up with me even more in Dungeons and such. Very nice

@Prelapse assume you'll be covering the best rolls for Apex Predator? Bipod looks like a dud but curious how Reconstruction matches with Explosive Light, Frenzy or Bait and Switch.
