How to tell a great story (with Lynn Gilmartin)

Published 2018-12-21
Telling a great story is an art. It requires that you tell the truth, be interesting and have people root for you. If you have a message to share, the art of storytelling is how you connect and inspire people.

My dream is to speak to millions about risk and love, so I went to Los Angeles with my BFF Lynn Gilmartin to take a Storytelling 101 course at the Upright Citizens Brigade last week. Here's what we learned!
(I also show you the story I crafted for the graduation show).

It would mean so much to me if you subscribed, commented and liked! Thank youuuuuuu.

If you know anyone who'd like this stuff (like maybe your girlfriends/sisters/wives), please send them my way! I sooooo appreciate and love you guys!!!

Hey Cristy, I've always thought you were a strong storyteller. I remember reading some of your Vlogs and watching some previous videos that were very compelling because you expressed a lot of vulnerability around your decision to leave Poker News and focus on playing poker. I could really identify with the ups and downs in your words and eyes. Good luck with continuing to develop your skills. So jealous of your husband, nothing like a poker-playing beautiful brunette with a creative bend. PS I would add one other character we sometimes pull for, the complicated anti-hero or heroin that has a redeeming quality or two!
