As a Packer fan.. Goddamn its hard not to like Zimmer. I am jealous..He is a badass coach and the right hard ass a team needs. He also shows love for his guys so you know it comes from the heart when he gets pissed. Vikings have a good future with this guy..
  • As a Die hard Vikings fan Coach Zimmer is what we need!!!! AP had the offer to remain a Viking he blew it

We haven’t won a Super Bowl yet but god dang it. Best coach the Vikes got so far in my generation
  • Mike Zimmer took a franchise that had been lost, picked it up, and turned it around. Also creating one of the NFL's better defenses. The vikings are a relatively young team, specifically on defense, and I predict they'll be a force to be reckoned with next year.

Zim is tied for being my favorite coach of all time with a guy named Bud.
  • Love or hate him, I love a coach like Zimmer. I Had one like him in High School. The kinda Coach you would run through a wall for because you knew he had your back. It was my HS School head Coach, Bud Grant and my father that influenced me as male role models growing up

I was so mad when Blair walshed missed the goal
  • Great Coaches are like Great Parents, they tell you what you need to hear!!! Not what you want to hear!!! 💎😭💎
  • I love coach ZIMMER. I’m a packer fan as well. He’s a mans man. A good guy and I wish he wasn’t our adversary!

Mike Zimmer is awesome, Norv Turner on the other hand, is terrible. Every week his play calling is the same, run, run, pass. And if the first run loses yards, then it is run, pass, pass. And on top of that he basically tells the other team what play he is running. If it is a run, it will always be i formation with AP in the backfield. If it is a shotgun, it is a guaranteed pass. Also, if AP comes out for a play, it is a pass. If they do pass it, you can count on Teddy being either sacked after half a second, or him getting himself into a sack by not throwing it. Also, Teddy is MUCH better throwing out of the shotgun than under center, yet 70% of his passes are from under center. This offense has been pathetic all season, and after all this time people finally realize it because it took a good team to shut them out. And it isn't just Norv either, his son Scott Turner still hasn't addressed the obvious problems with Teddy's accuracy. And whoever the OL coach is hasn't done a good job with them either. If I were the Vikings owner, I would fire Norv Turner if this offense fails again to produce anything. And if things don't get better, with teddy, Scott Turner too. Along with other offensive coaches.
  • I remember when he was the defensive Coordinator for the Bengals and they took on the bear in Cincinnati. That defense was playing on all cylinders. 2009 45-10 score

I think Zim was a better coach than we give him credit for. It didn't help that he and Spielman were not on the same page.

That fiesty passion wasn't there by the end
