Years ago I was lucky to have a chance meeting with Ron Howard and his lovely wife I was a clerk at a gas station and he was so kind to take a moment for a picture with me while filming in Big Sur Ca. The weather was awful and I didn’t like how my pic came out not knowing Ron’s wife overheard me Moments later Ron came back in the station and said he would take another photo with me Such a sweet and kind gesture I will never forget him and his wife They are amazing people

Ron Howard doesn’t get enough credit for what he does in such a unique way. I have a lot of respect for him and I think he’s awesome!

What a life Ron Howard had and is still having. Very humble and a kind man.

I hear celebrities being called national treasures all the time, but I often think, well maybe, but with Ron Howard is absolutely without a shadow a doubt a national treasure, who exudes the highest integrity I've ever seen in a Hollywood persona and that is so pure and real, and deserving of the utmost respect. Actually, the whole Howard family is a wonderful gift.

So refreshing to see an interviewer who gives the space for the interviewee to answer questions fully without interrupting. Nice work.

If I see the name “Ron Howard” in the credits ,I know it’s going to be a great movie.
  • Ron is one of the most grounded and well adjusted people on this planet. He is so genuine, honest and sincere.

I met Ron Howard's wife who was then his girlfriend. They were high school sweethearts from what I remember, and she was really a sweet young lady. She said she was surprised he chose her. But I could see why he chose her and she chose him. I talked to her at L.A. Valley Jr. College around 1974. I have been so happy they have been together all this time.

Ronnie and Clint, Jean was my sweet friend. I know how proud and grateful she was for her boys. You have no reason for regrets. I am Kevin Edwards mother. I will always be grateful for all you did with your little basketball team. Your parents had very high values and morals.

Ronnie Howard and Clint are just plain, flat-out good men.

I was very touched by his father Rances suggestions about keeping Opie a natural normal child and not a brat. That was very wise man and terrific father.❤
  • @newmoon766
They wanted Opie to be just another Dennis the Menace. And how long did THAT show last? Ron's dad was brilliant, and so is Ron.
  • So many of us didn’t realize the positive impact that our moms had on us before it was too late. I miss her.
  • You sure can’t say that this guy is all Hollywood.he’s the most normal person in the world.level headed.I’m glad he’s had a good life.

What a rare and genuine soul. So humble. Just love and respect this man.

The Howard house was two houses away from my family. We kids in the neighborhood all played in the streets together. My memories are that your parents were upstanding people in the community always putting on plays at the elementary school and giving back to the neighborhood. Your mom seemed very upbeat and happy involved in the school PTA with all the other moms. Dad seemed more quiet. It was a stable childhood for the rest of us. We saw you both as just normal kids and loved the made up games we played in the streets. I can remember Ron being in charge and he would say we are going to play hide and go seek with a twist. It’s a no brainer that he would direct. It was good Simple times.

Self Confident enough to Open up where most of us wouldn’t Dare to go ! Good for him !
  • @user-ds6jv1om7n
I can’t help but reflect on some of the cast lost so early. Tatum O’Neal’s beautiful mom played a role on the show as Andy Taylor’s “lady friend.” Jim Nabor’s life ended way too soon. I will never forget him singing in the choir behind a curtain while Barney took the credit. Such great memories. The writer’s of this show need to be in some kind of hall of fame.

Graham has a very effective ability to be quiet at the right time. Too many interviewers actually think people tune in to hear what they have to say, which often is important however only if it actually lends to the subjects tale. I love listening to Howard always!
