I like how Pancreas’ first thought about the rack was its use in an episode of Spongebob
  • My GM ran a 40k tabletop game where we played the acolytes of a fairly Purtian Inquisitior. The campaign had us chasing an individual who set up multiple Chaos cults across a sector. Turns out after a long campaign we track the heretic down...only to discover it's a Radical Inquisitior that was setting up Chaos cults to study them in order to discover how similar worship of the Emperor could be weaponized to make the Emperor into a Chaos god of Order for the Empire. The final mission had us fighting his willingly demon possessed Imperial Guardsmen flunkies whose faith in the Emperor gave them temporary control of the demon's power, all trying to kill us for being the heretics in their eyes. Gotta say, the GM really nailed the feel of the Inquisition and how batshit crazy they are.

i'm new to warhammer, but i love that the ordos desolatus is just one guy. I imagine it's just this guy being like, "Shut up it's a real ordos, and you can't know what it does"

“Some may question your right to destroy ten billion people. Those who understand know that you have no right to let them live. No sacrifice is too great, and no treachery is too small.” Inquisitor Horst

I can’t believe the inquisition would throw Squidward into the Squidward crushing machine like that.

The Istvanists sound like they could strike up a really lovely arrangement with Ghazkull. Like, "let's keep fighting each other on absurd levels of maximum intensity and whoever has their god manifest in reality first wins"

"Go read Ciaphas Cain, the good books" Brother they are all good

PancreasNoWork : "Inquisitors are above the law" Space Wolves : "Do you think you're in charge?"

The Ordo Desolatus sounds like it could be a designated survivor situation. Some guy trying to make an ark just in case the imperium as an institution collapses
  • So... this video is scattered... Chaotic... even? The Inquisition would like too know your location. They already know where it is, but they want you too think you're safe.
  • My favorite Inquisition quote is from the first Ciaphas Cain book: ‘You get more with a kind word and an excruciator than with just a kind word.’ – Inquisitor Malden.

Pancreas you can't flashbang us with that teclis comment

Fun fact Ordo Scriptus determined that Winnie the Pooh was part of actual history, and that Eeyore was a genius philosopher, whose work and words are still quoted in the 41'th millennia.

How does one become an Inquisitor? Well, no shit, there we were...
  • @nerdyvids1
Finding out that a founding member of the Inquisition fell to chaos is fucking hysterical. The organization was fucked from the start lol.
  • @TheBerchie
I like to imagine Guilliman rubbing his temples as an adviser is telling him about the Inquisition and their history. All the while, Guilliman thinking, 'Great, another thing I have to fix.'
