A little bit of Sailor Moon trivia: Usagi is 14 when the story starts, but she is 17 by the end and 22 when she married Mamoru so technically the version of her in the movie is most likely the 22 year old Usagi of the future arc. Why she's wearing the original Sailor Moon costume instead of the Eternal costume beats me.

I remember watching Star Ballz when I was 14, it was on one of those obscure flash game websites and I had no idea what I was getting into. The internet in the mid and late 2000's was full to the brim with those websites, so many trippy and bizarre experiences.

I remember Dave the rave posting on fr.rec.anime around 1999/2000 trying to advertise his abomination of Sailor and the 7 Ballz and picking up fights with other users, claiming that he was located in Thailand. The flame wars he was involved in were just hilarious to read.
