Chester: SHUT UP WHEN IM TALKING TO YOU Spotify: This isn’t Metal
  • @DeanTheDevil
I definitely would like to see you react to the 2010's metal songs
  • @KaijuTango
Linkin Park and Killswitch Engage were the GOATS of each of their genres.
  • @Sanilonely
As a metal fan, songs like chop suey being so mainstream makes me feel good. But people still won't appreciate that and get mesmerised by the genre of metal
  • It'd be interesting to see a top 00's metal curated by you Nik, seeing as you saw some stuff that was missing.
  • @AdmiralJT
Korn, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, Killswitch, Disturbed, FFDP, SOAD... Numetal and Metalcore was life... Still is.
  • @Axtrum_
The fact that Breaking Benjamin isn’t there is astounding….
  • @Harly-lz3pl
Linkin Park definitely should have made it on there. It's because of Linkin Park that I'm into metal today, and I think it's the same for a lot of of other people.
  • Honestly, this was a surprising solid list and I’m happy that Chop Suey! was number one, SOAD is one of my favourite metal bands and Daron Malakian played a bit part in my riff writing and experimenting with Drop C and Drop C#

WOTLK was As i lay dying - An ocean between us for sure
  • This is a good playlist in general, but I'm surprised that there is only one Rammstein song (and objectively not the song you will imagine if you think of Rammstein). I mean, this band was among the creators of industrial metal, and their most popular album (Mutter) came out in 2001. I'm kinda disappointed that they forgot about Sonne (this song absolutely slaps), Ich Will, Links 2,3,4 or Mein Herz Brennt
  • amon amarth is criminally underrated people do not talk about how good the guitar work is enough
  • @TheSaganic0
Missing a few good bands here: Lacuna coil, Trivium, Arch enemy, Devildriver, Linkin Park Still, not bad.
  • Dude I absolutely love Ill Niño especially the record you listened to Confession. Try Revolution Revoluciòn and One Nation Underground. All great early 00s albums. Confession pulled me outta the gutter a couple times. Love the channel Nik keep it going

"How Can I Live" by Ill Nino was on the Freddy vs Jason soundtrack. That soundtrack along with Queen of the Damned introduced to so many amazing artists. The Freddy vs Jason soundtrack had Killswitch Engage's "When Darkness Falls" (a slightly different version from The End of Heartache version) which was Howard's first song with the band. That song made me fall in love with KsE <3
  • @Minstrel2009
seeing "a dying god..." by celtic frost and Childen of bodom was a suprised for sure!
  • Bro, almost all of these are the reason I’m a core kid by heart.
