    Love the palm tree. For the nether portal maybe to break the pattern on the ground maybe add greenery (the twisty green vines from the nether or bamboo since the design is like a Japanese torii). Maybe a Japanese lantern post for lighting on one side to lean into the Japan design. Or just add the classic nether design of lava and sprinkle of gold like things
