Sitting in NG+10 with every questline done—again—it's crazy to remember how intriguing it seemed when I first met the Hunter. Now that I'm wearing his armor and pretty much trying to find the fastest way to the Unity, I can see his perspective and why he's so jaded. The dialogue that persuades him to help you if you're on the side opposite of him indicates that he's tired, that he feels the weight of his years and the only thing he seems to know is that he's eternally pursuing the Unity.

I missed him my first playthrough. I did catch him walking into The Viewport on my NG+ but I wasn't able to talk to him.

I encoutered The Hunter in the first three hours of my playthrough. Then I started to remember who he was later on and I was shocked.

So many YouTube videos make it so obvious that people got off Vectera and then never, ever, ever, ever, ever made their way to the Lodge. Luckily the Starborn you from the another universe went to the Lodge and took over. Probably out grabbing artifacts to build the armillary and make the jump to the next universe as you speak.
